I just saw that for Halo 4 the MC is listed as 7 feet 2 inches tall. Well, referring to my limited edition Halo 3 character encyclopedia included with my copy of Halo 3, he is 2.08 meters in height which translates to roughly 6 feet 9 inches. Does the new armor that he is wearing have platform shoes?
Also, when does he receive it? Because as far as I can tell it change in the middle of cryo sleep?
He’s 6’9" naturally, 7’2" with his armor.

That was specifically in reference to Mjolnir Mk. VII. While it is true that Cortana uses nanotechnology to upgrade the Chief’s suit, the source of the technology is still unknown.

I’m pretty sure that it’s been mentioned somewhere that the nanobots were stored on board the Foward Unto Dawn, but I’m not certain where I read that.

BUT!! How many Nano-Bots Tall is he?
Naomi mentioned her armour, she was wearing mark VII, could upgrade and repair itself even while in cryo thanks to the Nanobots. Something along those lines. It introduced that concept, it was nowhere stated that it was exclusive to the mark VII. If that concept had been introduced to Glasslands, likely to famiralize ourselves with the idea, if the description on the halo 4 section of waypoint states that John has modified armour, and we have the video were Frankie talks about, how some fans are upset at the idea of Nanobots making repairs to the chief’s armour, something along those lines, then I think it’s pretty obvious. Lets not forget the point about a type of Nanobots mentioned by Nihilous shadow so if you could please present your piece, I misspelled hit name, it’d be helpful.
We can safely say: Nanobots I believe.

I would imagine they are taken from something that was on board the FUD, but I was just making the point that the nanotech was probably not integrated with the Mk. VI like it is with Mk. VII
