Just a very minor detail, but when playing the campaign, your glove is completely black, but on multiplayer, it has the team colored pieces on it.
The Campaign is the Master Chief’s unique Mark VI armor suit which is slightly different to the multiplayer Mark VI suit (I think).
Why would the Chief have unique armor when it is still Mark VI? Especially if it is just something as minor as this? I’m sure the multiplayer version was just modified like it is because it emphasizes team colors. Which I think it would look pretty nice if they removed the colored pieces.
The multiplayer Mark VI armor was designed to look like the Halo 2 and Halo 3 armor. The reason Master Chief has unique armor is to make him look cooler.

This is due to the fact that he has been isolated on the Forward Unto Dawn and seperated from the rest of the other UNSC making the standard Mk VI armor.
It has also been said that Cortana had been working on his armor while he was in cryosleep, thus making it different from a normal Mk VI suit.
It’s not just the gloves, it’s the shoulder pads too.
My cousins who’s really into the halo universe told me that when master chief was in cryo sleep between halo 3 - 4, she messed around with his armor slightly varying it form his regular armor, using nanotechnology. Remember when she messed with his heads up display when he first awakens, and he “you’ve been busy”.
I’m not sure if that’s entirely correct, but it’s the only thing that makes sense to me from what I’ve been hearing.
343i made your Multiplayer Spartan IV’s undersuit a mish-mash of black and you’re primary armor color. This is true with every armor set, not just Mark VI.

Cortana modified Chief’s suit with nanobots while he was in cyro, likely to install upgrades and optimize the suit for lone-wolfing, just in case.
The multiplayer version is a Gen 2 adaptation of the standard Mark VI set.
