It doesn’t, in my opinion AA should not be removed, if anything they should be added, people enjoy them and taking away AA only makes a few people happy while generally YOINKING! off a bunch =/ not good.
In the matchmaking section of the forum, there is a thread for the evade removal, you should voice your opinion there, let 343 know you didnt care for it, perhaps if many people protest, they will put it back in, thats your best hope.

Spartan evade is much more broken than TU armor lock.
100’s of threads complaining about AL and Jetpack, 343 removes evade…wtf
Only bad players complained about evade coz skilled players beat them with it.
Good players complain about AL and Jetpack coz they are easy to use, exploit break maps and gameplay.
Removing evade lowers the skill gap in this game and bring it closer to COD which I dont like. Good players usually dont like using Al or Jetpack.

Evade, Jetpack and Armor Lock are all too powerful to be given off spawn. The only time I agree with their inclusion in any competitive playlist is when they are pick-ups.
The fact they remain in rotation for a large bulk of playlists I assume caters to the more casual section of the population, and seeing as how they take up the majority of Reach’s player base, I understand why. That said, competitive playlists should not have any more loadouts than Sprint/Hologram, so Jetpack still being in The Arena after all this time shocks me.
Personally, I’d rather they were all removed/made to be pick-ups on map, but I’m hardly the only one with this opinion, and after a year and a half of complaints, I think it’s safe to say it’s not going to happen.

343 Industries released a Title Update to include one of many changed, an Armour Lock nerf, which makes AL useless if you know how to combat it, especially considering you can knock the AL user out of it with one grenade.
There is no chance that 343i would remove Armour Lock in its TU state, it works perfect for what it was intended to be used for.
RIP evade my best friend… sigh time to get used to armor lock my old nemesis…
I hate armour lock!!! The day I can play more then 10 games without an armour locker on the other team is the day that I can say that I’ve lived a good life. I could die and be happy with it. I hate armour lock so much that I will intentionally betray my own teammates if they use it.
al is for noobs the only thing i use is sprint

People complain that Sprint was the worst addition to halo because it allows you.to run from battle, but Sprint is limited in the fact you can go one way in a relatively straight line. Now let’s look at evade not only does it allow you to evade in any direction you want not once but twice, it also screws up your hitbox while doing so if that takes skill consider me mlg.

Armour Lock is by far the most frustrating AA in the game.
I am a good player, and evade was just stupid. I loved using it but hated playing people with it.
I hate armor lock as well but it is way better then evade
Which is why I loved Squad Slayer. There was no Armor Lock to ruin the game. But, now that it’s gone, I’ve been playing Arena, since it is probably the next best thing, since there’s no AL (only Sprint, Jetpack, and Hologram).
