The maps with Halo CE, do they come on a new Halo: Reach disk?

Just wondering if the 7 new maps that we get with the remake of Halo CE will be on a new seperate Halo: Reach disk? Just like what we got with Halo ODST.

Also, if it does come with a new disk, do we get all the previous map packs, just like we did with Halo ODST?

Thanks

It’s all on the CE:A disk. When you load up the game (assuming you have a copy of Reach), the game will prompt you to download the seven maps for Halo Reach.

If you don’t have Reach, then you can still play from the CE:A disk but you won’t have access to the rest of Reach’s maps or DLC. Just the six MP maps and the one FF map. You can only play on Anniversary playlist, which will have the use the Anniversary settings (think similar gameplay of CE but in Reach).

Also if you don’t buy CE:A you can still get the maps in the form of DLC. They will be available shortly after CE:A launches.

ok cool thanks for that.

So 1 more question, presuming that all 7 maps will go onto the marketplace eventually, do we know how long it will after Halo: CE is released that they will go onto the marketplace?

Thanks again

The Mythic Map Pack 2 for Halo 3, which was a former exclusive part of the Halo Wars Limited Edition, was released on the marketplace one or two months after the release of HW. I guess the same will happen with the Halo CEA Map Pack.

If you are looking for MP information and specifics, go to this thread. To answer your question, it will be all on one disk.

thats actually pretty horrible. I thought they said they didn’t want to splinter the community. I don’t care if people who don’t have reach can still play on it’s boring -Yoink- maps. In fact, i wish they’d have gone the odst route and included all the dlc maps.

EDIT: I read the Q&A, so disregard most of my post.
