So as many of you may know, the Mantis in Halo 5: Guardians is much less powerful than it was in Halo 4. This is somewhat okay as the Halo 4 Mantis was a little too powerful, but there are certain things that have been bugging me, one such thing being the stomp; the Mantis stomp in Halo 5: Guardians is incredibly weak. In fact, I haven’t seen the stomp being used once since I got the game, at least not effectively or to any avail. If we can be boarded from literally anywhere when inside a Mantis, we should be able to stomp away any possible boarders. Give the stomp a buff; increase it’s area of effect so that the more facilitated boarding process isn’t as bad as it currently is. The stomp needs to actually be useful.
Anyone else have any opinions?
Ok, well as much as I would like to agree, I can safely say that the stomp is quite useful. I have managed to get a fair few splatters with it…only from those incoming ghosts. Other than that I can agree whole heartedly that the stomp is almost not worth risking as you become stationary as well.

It’s not as effective against Spartans.
Totally agree. It’s essentially useless to stop Spartans, the only thing I’ve managed to do was damage (not even kill) a normal ghost.
