Been hearing some rumor about the Mangler being OP and needing a nerf. Mostly from pro players.
It doesn’t need one.
It needs to stop being treated like a plasma pistol and be valued in its weight class. With the Bulldog and Heatwave. It’s a tier two gun.
This is just like when they remove the H4 Boltshot and replaced it with the much less interesting H5 boltshot. The H4 boltshot was broken, they just let players spawn with it in loadouts so you could have entire teams with pocket shottys.
tl;dr Put the Mangler on the Heatwave/Bulldog rack. Don’t nerf the melee.
