I do think the complainers are the minority but I don’t think that majority are displeased with the game. Numbers have dropped but that’s because black ops 2 released. The numbers dropped a but have seemed steady to me for a few days. I never said the complainers are completely wrong. I disagree with some choices 343 made but that doesn’t mean the game is trash an halo is ruined. I mean 343 has to find problems, acknowledge them, fix them, put all the fixes into one patch and then submit the patch for approval from Microsoft. You honestly believe there are 900k people playing in campaign, customs, and spartan ops? When most people have beat campaign, spartan ops takes an hour to beat and customs has been stripped down?

Dude, nothing can justify the population dropping other than that this game isn’t very much liked.
Team Fortress 2 on the PC at peak times has over 100,000 players, that game is over 5 years old, this game at Peak only just breaks 100,000.
yup the minority are complainers thats why the game has went from 400k to 50k-100k in 3 weeks? really halo 3 had 200k+ for a year a “YEAR” we only want halo to be halo and not this cod rip off we got.
I disagree. This game is great. Problem is there are too many games out or coming out… black ops 2, hitman, assassins creed , far cry 3 ect… I go back and forth between games but I always come back for a few games of halo.

You aslo f rgot t mention that some of the player drops is because the majority have to study for finals, sense they have school. or have yo go to work and don’t get off until late.

There’s been a decent amount of good games come out lately along with black ops 2. I don’t think these low numbers will be permanent.
The majority love this game since they are playing it right now. The minority is the people who want a Halo 2.5 which isn’t going to happen.
Now please so yourself a favor and just let this thread die out since it doesn’t make a lot of sense in the first place.

No one is displeased with the game. the graphics are incredible, the game actually takes skill with headshots, ordinance has eliminated people getting an advance by going for weapons of the map, campaign is short but great, almost everything is improved. if you want a game that takes no skill go back to reach and armour lock. stop complaining like whiny b*tches. ima competitive player and this is the best halo.

Yes. The minority are the complainers. Of the large numbers that have dropped off only a small number have come here to complain. therefore the people who are complaining are the minority. The people that have dropped off and aren’t on this forum are irrelevant to my statement that the complainers are the minority. I meant that the people who come here to complain are a minor portion of the total community.

I would bet money that there are maybe not as much as matchmaking but a LOT of people grinding out levels in spartan ops because the new specializations codes are rolling out in the next few days. Another 50-100k wouldn’t surprise me. I played almost strictly matchmaking until I found out that the codes were coming, in the last week I spent most my time in spartan ops until I hit 50, now I can sit back and relax in matchmaking until the codes come.
And yes, I will say the complainers are the minority. Think about it, when people buy something the loudest ones are the ones who hate it. Rarely do people commend things that they like, but everyone complains about what they dont.
Having played Halo since I was 14, and having fond memories of all the games, I can honestly say I think Halo 4 is good. It hasn’t changed as much as everyone cries about. For being a series that has as much history as it does, I’m actually surprised it hasn’t changed more.
