Alright guys i don’t know about you but 343I have let me down a little.
Know with Anniversary there were some problems but that’s fine but they let me
down with the handbook in side the case, it’s one thing i love about the halo series, the Halo CE booklet had pictures and info about the covenant and weapons the same with 2,3 ODST and Reach. 343I have done well so far but in the “Reclaimer” trilogy they should keep
the booklets like the originals, it is what makes Halo different
good times
if you think thats bad you should see the booklet you get with battlefield 3, its 2 page, no joke
> if you think thats bad you should see the booklet you get with battlefield 3, its 2 page, no joke
same with Gears 3
and i think those games are pretty dam complicated for shooters
Yeah, I really liked the Halo 2 booklet.
HALO 3’s was awesome
Modern game instruction manuals piss me off. I remember when they had a fair bit of info, not the three pages we seem to be getting now. Not to mention, so many games these days have black and white pages in the manual, go back to colour!
Yeah I agree. I want the big, beefy, shows-all-the-guns-and-vehicles manuals back. Even Halo Wars showed all the units in it’s manual. I was dissapointed by CEA’s, but, it was an expansion pack. ODST’s manual was pretty small too, so hopefuly this is an expasion pack only thing.

LOL, I remember StarCraft 1’s handbook, the damn thing was a mini novel, with the back story of StarCraft. Most game publishers are cutting back on those things, and making them online or soft copies.
But if you want to hear sad, The Sims 3: Pets, digital download, which I paid for right from EA, which says it comes with a manual, comes with a link, that directs me to a download for a zip file, which if you unzip it’s full of images with the text saying the same thing in many different languages, “The manual comes with your copy of The Sims 3: Pets”. now that is sad.
I agree. I actually liked reading the Halo 3 instruction manuel when I was bored, then I memorised it and it wasn’t fun. I hate it when I want to know something about a game, and all the “manuel” is is a peice of paper that says “the left stick is used to move. Have fun.”
