  5. Awkward CQC.

  7. Trueskill2
  8. Lopsided games where bots would be a better fit than the teammates you get.
  9. Overpriced items in the shop that are pretty subpar if I’m honest.
  10. Lack of customization outside of a paywall
  11. The worst emblem system I’ve seen in the history of gaming. Literally charging for emblems, laughable.
  12. broken custom lobbies.

The list can go on. How long do we need to wait for patches/updates that actually don’t break the game even more. I feel you need to reroll the game back to the flights at this point lmao it’s quite sad.

Where is the Live service we were promised? 3 months and you can’t even patch basic issues like the custom lobbies glitching and randomly placing people on the other team.

Seriously fix the core problems already, it’s getting old.

Why would they fix certain things you listed knowing they are working as they are actually intended?

343 deliberately broke this game, and as soon as most of you actually grasp that maybe reality will actually set in that they don’t want to fix what was planned. The sad thing is, no matter how much anyone pleads 343 don’t care, they are only going to do what they want, not what some you would like.

See, the player base is being conditioned to play Infinite how 343 wants the player base to play, and most of you will just accept it. That’s why the game is being handled as poorly as it is.

A few of those problems are sort of you issues that 343i can’t really solve. 6 for instance isn’t a problem. 8 is a problem you get when you rely on a matchmaker to pick your teammates for you instead of picking them out yourself.

You’re right, and I think the change came about because the investors aren’t gonna sit around and wait 5 to 6 years to make their money back like they had to with Halo 4 and then Halo 5. The people with the money must not have been that impressed with what they had seen in Infinite. So they tossed whatever garbage 343 was working on out the window a year before launch, delayed the game to hire Joe Staten again, told him to rework the plot into a new F2P model, and turn Infinite into a 10 year cash grab to close out the series so Microsoft can clear the way for Bethesda and Activision to pump out some content.

The 10 year crap was all baloney. What they really meant was 10 years of drip feeding cosmetics. Look at any game that said the “10 year plan” crap, they all have one thing in common… an in-game store.

Sorry but on behalf of the majority of the community Mangler IS a problem. If you disagree, well, you’re just not there yet.

Wrong, the game could have better matchmaking they just choose to allow a wide range of players match together as long as the CSR is similar, which is obviously flawed and garbage. Not everyone can play with a 4 stack nonstop.

1: yup… you know your game is trash when it crashes in the menus. not in a match, or game. but in the MENUS… lmao

2: gotta love firing and clearly sticking someone or point blanking someone with a ROCKET… yet nothing happens like they eat 'em for breakfast. because i GUESS the grenade just unstuck and the rocket wasn’t close enough/the player was somehow further from the rocket

3: you’d think given that 343 fixed the net coding in the servers of MCC that they’d have better servers for infinite… but nooo. they just gotta make them worse than Team fortress 2… a game from 2007… lovely

4: that’s do to the desyncing and lack of player collision… the amount of times i’ve melee lunged only to slide through someone, or backsmack someone and have them back smack me too leaving us both dead is a few too many

5: eeh… only awkward because it’s borked

6: …that’s just a personal issue. it ain’t that bad… then again it’s just a long shot shotgun. fire and melee… i mean, if you wanna talk about weapon ballancing. the shock rifle is legit annoying

7: that would be fine… if it was indevidual, per playlist. rather than your rank being shared between EVERY PLAYLIST

8: … what bots have you been getting? spartan level bots don’t replace teamates, i think marine/odst bots do… and they’re so bad. though i will say that sounds more of a personal issue, matchmaking giving you trash teamates… that ain’t really anything new

9: yeah, at least 343 seem to actually be lowering the prices to a reasonable price. 2 bucks for shoulders ain’t bad. not preferable, but acceptable. though 20 is still too high for any of the offered bundles

10: being f2p is just an excuse to do more of what they did in h5. instead of EARNING YOUR ARMER… just pay 10 bucks… yay… so cool… you used your mother’s credit card, good for you…

11: legit, they seem to worsen the emblem/nameplate system with every new game. instead of a 2 layered emblem, and your own nameplate, with individual colors… preset emblems that tie to your nameplate with preset colors… yay… i can really have what i want in this customization

12: 6 years for a borked, unplay tested pile of disconnecting trash… lovely innit?

really the mid-season update was more of a late patch than a ‘update’… hopefully 343 pulls themselves together by s2… as this’s just sad. makes me want to play H5 over this nonsense. just gotta wait 5 years for the game to be actually out of beta -v-

He’s a forum troll but 343 mods will only close threads when people start agreeing too much that Halo Infinite sucks so he posts 1-2 word responses to get his post count up before they lock it.

I can’t even believe Staten got himself into this mess.

What all this comes down to me is that the game was rebooted at the last minute basically, and 343 added all the wrong aspect of it right off the bat.

I can only imagine how much content was creating that was tossed aside, and how much was cut to use as a filler later down the road.

This will be an unpopular opinion, but I think bringing Staten is part of the problem. You had a game nearly finished and then bring in someone to start making changes?

Should have brought him in for the next game, and build it from the ground up.

Not even Bungie would dare. You earn your Nameplates and Shaders in Destiny for FREE, aside from obviously DLC expansion pass locked content, but you never paid directly for Nameplates and Shaders in the shop. Basically the equivalent of unlocking Nameplates and Coatings in the Halo Infinite campaign, which is acceptable. We should obviously have a lot more stuff unlockable from campaign and milestones

Halo ALWAYS let you customize your colors and Emblems, and the Nameplates were SEPARATE

Take away our customization, sell back scuffed substitutes

If they want to sell coatings on top of base colors, fine, whatever, but they took away the basics of Halo and sold us worse versions

They told us they designed Infinite to let players create their DREAM SPARTANS that you could never achieve with the customization in the games before

I agree, but I also know it wasn’t his call to scrap whatever the higher-ups did. On top of it, we really don’t know what changes he made and he doesn’t make the calls. The higher-ups actually do.

They probably just don’t like it being a quick 2 tap kill weapon. It’s my favorite weapon, and it’s an instant melee kill assistant, so I obviously love it because it fits my up close playstyle. I’ve stopped swords and hammers with it, by beating their animation. Other people hate it, especially in ranked, where people shoot with a Mangler, drop it, and get a BR headshot instant kill
