…I know how to shoot just fine. Its extremely underpowered at any distance other than RAGNAROK distance…
Or atleast tighten up the spread a bit? I mean, its worse than the BR.

Hm, as I can recall, the Lightrifle was almost the exact same as both Br and DMR pre-patch. I feel that the Lightrifle IS UP, but it’s better than the DMR when scoped in due to the slight-rate-of-fire increase from the patch (Tis why I prefer it over DMR in BTB.) So, eh, a little buff to unscoped LR wouldn’t hurt, but a damage buff isn’t the way to go since it still shoots faster than the Br. ROF buff maybe?

That’s what I was thinking. Maybe not a “damage” buff, but something, right? It just feels so underwhelming compared to the others…even the Carbine is wrecking stuff now and that one was crap.

It could work, but not to the point where it’s the main gun to use, as Vancouva stated.

No, I’m not. I’m pretty serious about this thread lol
The trick to using the LR close range is to get the first shot (or two) scoped in, then unscope and fire the last two shots. By doing this you’ll have a faster kill time and be able to get a 4sk. It’s tricky, but if you want to use the LR effectively in other distances besides long range, try it.
Try using the stability perk if you’re having trouble with flinch.
