Need help for this level. Can’t stand the flood and with the unlimited amount of them, I hate them even more. They won’t stop coming and I can’t get past them. Any ideas would be very helpful.

Look up some online guides I had trouble with it back in the day just keep a shotgun and pistol then play smart
Shotgun, pistol and lots of time and dedication. That mission straight up blows.
Never, EVER drop your pistol. It’s your best friend on that map. Assault Rifle and Shotgun are your best picks. Rockets are great but not worth picking up, not many situations where it’ll actually come in handy
Go forwards in the mission carefully. RC masters Legendary guide will at least help you with general strategies. And use magnum to take out flood combat form from a great distance
Use the tactics from notable speedrunners, they help you skip certain skirmishes.
Whatever you do, dont try and run through, kill everything as you go, it doesnt respawn, but in the sections where you have to hold out then just get into a corner and keep pounding everything

Kill everything, don’t try to skip a single enemy they’ll chase you down until you die a bloody death. For me, I always kept an Assault Rifle for the Flood spores, and a Shotgun or Magnum for the big guys, depending on your range and/or ammo at the time. I always pick up their rockets, but I just immediately use them and backtrack to my Shotgun/Magnum.
The rocket launcher is not really useful everywhere and that prevent you from using another weapon and it’s a pretty bad backup if you are cornered.
I’ll be fair, everything the assault rifle can do very well, the plasma pistol or rifle can do that "very good’ , the AR really suck in CE, even at mid/long range the plasma rifle is pretty good (since floods don’t try to avoid) .
Shotgun should always be the top 1, magnum top 2.

Assault Rifle is good for the spores, but in every other situation the Plasma Rifle is better. I just always found it better to keep my AR to decimate the spores with short bursts and save my Shotgun ammo for the big guys.
I tend to use the shotgun or the magnum on infection forms, or whatever enemy I have in the reticle, I just keep grenades for serious things.
This is not a laso situation where I really need a specific weapon.
There must be a bug with shotgun wielding combat forms because most of the time I don’t die at a fair range, yet I die in Halo 2 in Normal at the same, dying from one hit is rare.
The Library is one of the hardest levels within the Halo franchise, it only took me about 28 minutes to complete the level, though it took me 2 or 4 tries before I did it for reals, as I did need to know where the flood would spawn. Most of the time you want to keep Shotgun, Grenades at hand because they work extremely well on the Flood, but if you use magnum, than aim for the flower looking thing on their body & that kills them faster.
During the closed door parts hide in the place next to the door and they won´t find you if you are fast.

People must stop with that “is the hardest” or “one of the hardest” levels, this is -Yoink-, the level is just boring, not hard.

This level is actually really easy to play on legendary. Just follow these steps:
-Kill all the flood, no exceptions. Do this all the way through the game.
-Hang back with the pistol and the shotgun/AR. Be smart and hang around corners so the flood can run towards you.
-Be patient. The level will take you around 2 hours approx (at least it did for me).
There’s only one part towards the end which is tough which is when you are trapped in a small compartment with little cover before the monitor opens the door. Just save your grenades and it shouldn’t be too bad.
use shotgun and pistol. Also you can hide from some groups of flood while waiting for doors to open.
also, check out speedrunning stuff. Grenade places are one thing to keep an eye on.
