Anyone else think the Librarian will play a big role in Halo 4 instead of the Didact? Instead of the flipped symbol being for the Didact what if it was for the Librarian?
Also at the end of Primordium 343 Gs says he knows the location of the Librarian.
Could it be possible that the ancient evil is the Librarian?

Yeah she does, can’t remember what it looks like though.

really? i havnt read it and how come all this time we were told she died on mount kilamonjaro (sorry bad spelling) and now she could be possibly alive what about the terminals in halo 3? they indicate she was gonna die that it was too late for her to make it back, same with the books now saying there 2 didacts now, its a bit silly there messing up the established story, now such and such isnt dead now theres 2 of this now there this and that. sorry to sound like a jerk i dont mean it. Im not too much of a book reader its not because im too lazy to read them but i’ve read the first 3 books, and i dont think we should have to read the books to understand whats going on in the games, books are based of the games not the other way.
Alright maybe not the ancient evil unless she is pissed off for whatever reason.
Again it is also hinted that she is still alive in Primordium at the end of the book.
Here is the paragraph.
Guilty Spark: "Know that all that lingered in me, the memories and emotions of old humanity, when I was still flesh, is also hidden deep within you. It slumbers, but it shapes, and it haunts your dreams and your hopes.
"You and I are brothers in many ways… not least in that we faced the Didact before, and face him now, and perhaps ever after. This is combat eternal, enmity unslaked, unified by only one thing: our love for the elusive Lifeshaper. Without her, humans would have been extinguished many times over. Both I and the Didact lover her to his day. "Some say she is dead, that she died on Earth. But that is demonstrably untrue. "One of you almost certainly carries Vinnevra and Riser’s old spirits within. Only the Lifeshaper can find them and coax my friends back to life. And after a hundred thousand years of exploration and study… “I know where to find her.”
So after reading it over again it seems the Librarian is still alive and so is the Didact.
Also appears that Riser and Vinnevra are connected to a person or two on the UNSC Infinity.

im still wondering why primordium hinted to her being alive when all this time we were told she died on mount kilimanjaro, isnt that messing with story that has already been put in place.
The librarian is not Dead… In the end of Halo Primordium, 343 Guilty Spark finds her and takes over a ship to get to her. And I don’t think she will play that much of a role in halo 4 but rather in halo 5 or 6

but we have always known she died on mt kilimanjaro, the terminals in halo also said it, why are they suddenly making alive now? c’mon she couldnt have survived why are they messing with that part of the story its a bit over the top.

The librarian was suspected dead as it says with the conversations between the diadact and herself in halo 3 terminals but 343 guilty spark takes over a unsc ship and is travelling towards the location which i think could also be Requiem(“i know where to find her”)also there is ONLY one diadact…as bornstellar became the diadact as the old one died in cryptum. i dont think that she’ll really play any roll in halo 4 though.

we all know she died on mount kilimanjaro because it says she spent her last days there, why is 343i and greg bear tampering with the story of her that has already been set in place.
I suppose if she put herself into a Cryptum (a kind of stasis device) she may be alive still I guess. Only this would lead us to believe Spark is headed to…
