I’m playing Legendary on Reclaimer thanks to Tyrants guide. When you insert Cortana into the terminal to turn off the particle cannon, after Cortana shuts it down, she disappears. Even though the Librarian that was just a memory, Cortana had to have been catalogued, what else could it be? Maybe she’ll come back as a Human in Halo 5. Whatever the case, that just hit me. The Libarian didn’t temporarly kidnap Cortana just to lure John. She had to have done something to make a copy of Cortana.
That’s just my theory.

She informed cortana of the same stuff she told John, Cortana says it after they’re reunited.
Putting people back from digital to biological creates only abominations by the librarian’s speech she gives while cortana is gone.
That’s my theory as well. I always new that the Librarian took Cortana for purposes not solely based on getting chiefs attention, though that worked.
Dont forget, Requiem is gone, unless the Librarian’s AI transported all important materials/data elsewhere, Cortana may be gone for good even if she was copied.

Whats to say though that Cortanas brain couldn’t be implanted into a Moniter though? Chakas was turned into a Moniter too. Cortanas interface I should say, could be imprinted the exact same or a similar way couldnt it?
I agree with Dark here. Your theory was something I considered, but seeing Requiem blow up took it out of my mind completely.

Though the Librarian may have left a memory of her on Requiem. She may have passed away elsewhere. I don’t think the Libarian would’ve kept important materials on Requiem though as the Didact could’ve easily used those against John.

Thats true,
But we dont have any indication that she did transport anything off of Requiem before it collided with the sun.
Its still possible that she did infact take Cortana’s copy(if she was copied) elsewhere, and its something that I do keep in mind because the Forerunners do have some impressive tech to do such things with ease. But unless we find out otherwise, Cortana’s return looks bleak.

I have a hunch your right on those terms. If There is a Halo 5 teaser at E3 this year, then it’ll possibly show her somewhere. Hell if the Librarian kept important material on Requiem then the Didact could have also corrupted Cortana and turned her against John as well. But since the Didact was imprisoned, I don’t think the Libarian would have kept anything of value for the Didact to use. If not an E3 trailer this year then a Season 2 of Spartan Ops explaining more about it.
