the librarian and the didact

Could someone please explain exactly what these two character’s rolls are in the Halo universe and speculate if they will appear in Halo 4.

Firstly (Correct me if I am wrong) the Librarian is a female character and I think she made the plan to use the halo rings against the flood.

Also I think the Didact hated the Librarian and none of the forerunners would listen to him.

Discuss!

Actually I can’t explain it well but I know about this:

…from what I gather the Didact was against using the rings. The librarian was in favor of them being used.

Yea ill check them out. I got my information from the terminals in Halo CEA.

I havn’t read Cryptum in more than a month so I don’t remember everything about it. I’m pretty sure the Librarian and Didect were mates or whatever it was to the forerunners. That or they were closely related in some other way. They didn’t tell you much about the Librarian other than that she took humans under her wing in their darkest hour. The Didect was a Warrior that often argued with the Builders and was exiled because of it. Correct me if I’m wrong but the Halo games/books specifically stated that all of the Forerunners were wiped out with the first detonation of the rings.

I think the Librarian is a religious reference because she called Earth “Eden”. Just sayin

There are tons of different places you can look for the latest Halo lore. The most successful thing you can do explode is just wait for the forerunner saga to end. You should have most of the information you want by then.

They were lovers.

Or maybe she named Earth “Eden” and the knowledge got lost as humanity evolved and we started associating religion with Eden.

That is a brilliant idea and I think it’s extremely plausible. I can’t wait to see how everything plays out.

The Librarian was the one who saved all life in the galaxy by constructing a plan to replant species back on their home worlds. She was the wife of the Didact who opposed the Halo project adamantly. After the Forerunners council world was destroyed with the 12 halo arrays(5 were destroyed) by mendicant bias who was under the influence of the Prisoner of Charum Hakkor(Timeless one, Last Precusor). The Didact(Bornstellar a manipular with the Didact imprinted in him through the use brevet mutation) had no other choice, but to fire the Halos to stop the Flood and then start the Librarians plan to reseed the Galaxy.
