The only embarrassment here is that we all fell for the largest internet scam in history.
Microsoft had managed to evade quality control, place a store-front on the sacred ring, and desecrate it with their filthy over-priced microtransactions.
Needless to say, it was HERESY.

The Campaign is ok, it had time and effort placed into it, but that does not excuse the sheer state of the multiplayer.
Somebody must be made to take responsibility for this blunder and face the music.

There would be no such thing as Forge if they listened to -Yoink!- fans on a forum. That’s the point.
They are the creators. They’ve invested thousands of hours into their product and they know better than you what works for Halo. They make what’s profitable and marketable for them; not what internet fans want.

The game sucks and the plummeting population is proof of that, 343 has yet to launch and maintain a successful halo game .

How many AAA games have you made?
In regards to the store and battle pass, I think it’s just perceived value. Imo the battle pass is mostly fine, their is a good variety of stuff. The store is quite a bit overpriced for a lot of what they are offering. And the fracture event, no one can convince me that pass was good when you can only get 6 items each time and 16 out of the 30 rewards are challenge swaps, and the promo material for it was locked behind a pay wall.

Nowadays every community is filled with complainers. Even if you’d remaster their favorite Halo they would be like “nah it’s too different” or “nah it’s not different enough” You can play Infinite without spending money on any skins and stuff, no problem. But no the company is apparently evil for having the intent to make money.
