There’s absolutely no denying that 343 has put their heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into improving the release of the MCC. The matchmaking may still have it’s issues, but performance improvement with finding games is undeniable. Keep in my that this is 343s first time using dedicated servers. (nonetheless the first halo game to use dedicated servers) With today’s content patch, recent communication woth us and an organized plan to fix online issues with the game 343 has been making an impressive recovery to their lackluster launch of the game. Keep that in mind along with how other studio’s have handle issues like this in comparison to 343.

Yea! MM is kind of broken, I’ve gotten a few matches in, and until they fix it, we have the OTHER half of the game to play! The campaign, and everything.
343I is working to fix it, and I’ll be very happy when they do. They could’ve done less, and yet they’re trying to fix it.

I want to love the MCC, I really do, but it’s hard. Honestly, the game itself is broken as well, and not just the matchmaking aspect. There are multiple lighting issues throughout the game(s), and simple things were either removed or they’re just not working, e.g. in-game chat, not being able to promote people to leader whilst in a match, etc.
Like I said, I want to love the MCC, but it’s broken. Very broken.

It’s working for some.
All that matters to me is that the way of the Custom Game is thriving considerably. It’s been a great way to practice, make some friends, and form teams for when the matchmaking is working as intended.
There’s nothing like getting a bunch of friends together for some customs, imo.
Yes I guess it is a good point to make - there is probably only a discrete server-related or matchmaking-optimization-related team letting 343i down at this point and the rest of the devs don’t deserve to get caught up in that.
How do you know they aren’t just beating their -Yoinks!- to the millions they made off of a broken -Yoink- game?
