The Lastest Leak might Be True...

Well, here we are. With the latest leak of the so called, “fake pic”, it looks like it’s actually legitimate.

When the Reach Pictures were leaked, Bungie didn’t comment on them ever and they turned out true.
Remember Halo: Nemesis? Almost right away, Frankie confirmed them as false. This new pic is this most believable one yet and 343i hasn’t announced it as false!

Discuss.

Some guy a while ago annotated the picture spotting mistakes.

Forgot his name but he did a good job.

its fake trust me. dont make me pull the evidence

Nemesis was completely stupid and false.

Besides, we’ve already pointed out numerous inconsistances on the picture, mess ups, etc. It’s fake.

what pic? can someone PM me a link?

is this about the Halo 4 Alpha Build, supposedly found in the Anniversary source code?

IN B4 TEH LOCK
also it only looks like a DMR and a Halo CE shotgun photoshoped in a some google found background

People pointed out numerous inconsistances and mess ups in the “Tom Morello” images from Reach’s pre-release era.

link???

isnt Tom Morello the first boss in Guitar Hero III?

Another reason it’s fake: Halo 4 isn’t using an engine we’ve seen before. It’s using one built from scratch. So if it looks ANYTHING like Reach = automatic fake.

@Madara003: Well thank you. It’s nice to see definitive proof of the leak’s falsehood.

Actually, Halo 4, like every previous Halo game, is using a modified Halo engine.

I wish they would post a simple picture.
I’d love to see the art style.

Built from scratch = Built from Scratch.

Halo 4 is a new triolgy, thus it has a new engine. Halo: reach engine maxed out all possible coding with the Halo: CE engine.

And seeing as Halo 5 and 6 are being built on next-gen technology…Well, you understand where I’m coming from…i hope.

They are using previous tech as well as original tech.
They’ve said that multiple times.

I read " The Lastest…" and could not stop laughing

No, look. Halo 2’s engine was a heavily modified Halo Engine. Halo 3’s engine was a heavily modified and reworked Halo 2 engine. Halo 3’s engine was a heavily modified and reworked Halo 3 engine.

Halo 4’s engine is being built on top of the Reach engine with some new coding thrown in; i.e. a heavily modified and reworked Halo Reach engine.

Every game engine these day uses existing technology for it’s base. Almost nothing is built from scratch.

> Almost nothing is built from scratch.

Frostbite 2 was built from scratch

Some of the licensed engines (Frostbite/Unreal) are built from scratch because they can afford to take that time as they make money directly from licensing it out, as well as they use it to make games.

I know every single halo game has used an updated engine with new coding each time. I haven’t played the series for a decade without knowing what its foundations are. I managed to find some juicy info about the new engine (you were right, I was misinformed by someone on Wikipedia…What a surprise.

> Wolfkill: It’s different from Anniversary. We…I almost revealed the codename for a second…[laughs]. This is an engine based on some of the past Halo tech for sure. But it’s also something this team has been working on to sort of optimize it for what we’re doing. It’s a completely internal piece of technology, but it is based on a lot of the Halo foundational tech.

Previous confirmed to be real leak =/= Recent “leak.”

People have already found the background image of the mountains on google. It’s fake dude.

Wait… isn’t this the second time you have used that example on me?
