Srsly, this is the limit 343, shows your commitment towards your customers, i don’t get why the -Yoink- i get banned when i haven’t even started the game.
You have rubbish servers which keep booting me out when the starting animation for warzone plays and i get the ban for it? 3rd ban in warzone now its at 2 hours.
frankly im done with ur game and i think im better off playing MCC or Reach if i must play halo seeing how they don’t keep booting me or banning me for no -Yoink- reason at all.
Funny thing is, most of my DNF were for games where we were winning, so its odd i keep “quitting” ( as u seem to think thats what i do) during such games right?
If you cant fix your servers atleast stop the bans, don’t need hand holding in a teen/mature game, let it be as it was.

PS: If it wasn’t made clear already, its not my internet so u don’t need to waste ur energy accusing my end. why i say this? its cuz no other game disconencts for me

atleast i dont get kicked from mcc games at random, im fine waiting 3-4 mins for a game to start cuz i know i can play a full game isntead of wondering when ill disconnect

I can imagine that people are getting frustrated over this. Because there is nothing that they can do about it, the ban system doesn’t really refrain people from leaving the game to be honest, if they are going to quit, they will.

A lot of European plays have issues with these servers even with good internet, a server located in America isn’t going to be good for someone in Germany no mater how good their connection is.

They can and do, but the main issue is over disconnections. You can’t differentiate (fromswhat I understand) between the server kicking you, your own connection dropping you or pulling your ethernet cord / turning off your WiFi. Very eary for folk to claim server disconnects when they’re actually just pulling the cord themselves, which does happen.

I can understand that you can’t differentiate between a legit quit and a disconenct, but if thats the case atleast stop handing out bans for leaving while the issue is fixed, or don’t issue bans for casual/unranked gametyes like warzone. I play warzone 90% of the time.

Yeah I was able to rejoin double dates playlist but thats because its a social playlist. If we had the ability to rejoin matches that were ranked so long you werent actually booted for betraying that’d be nice

OP, the general consensus around here seems to be that the servers are acting weirdly. I wouldn’t know as I stopped playing this game regularly in December.

I don’t think its an issue that can be fixed. The hammer swings regardless. Blame all those who make conscious decisions to quit on a regular basis. They are the reason the hammer is so strong.

And you think they could set up some algorithmic detection system where if someone quits out/gets disconnected before a match even starts or they are winning, that’s probably not a rage quit. Whereas if they constantly have quits when they are going negative or losing badly, that probably is. they need to optimize their system to detect these and red flag the seemingly obvious ones (even though it might not be perfect) and be more lenient to the people that aren’t rage quitting. Though it should still ban people even for their internet issues. The real problem is when people have perfectly fine internet, not rage quitting, but getting disconnected by the servers for some unknown reason and getting banned for that. That’s what they need to figure out how to single out.

That’s fair enough if players are habitual quitters or afkers, but I got banned yesterday for connection issues after getting kicked twice, I was still online and connected to Halo lol, I went through my last 150 games and could not find ONE dnf, I would love 343i to tell me how I deserved that ban yesterday.
