Has anyone else been experiencing lag?
Every game today has been laggy, yet the connection bars are all green in the roster.
Also when I got on to Reach an hour ago, all I saw was a default black spartan. Challenges and my service record was not available.
Then, a few minutes later, it worked.
My internet is just fine, I think it is the servers.
It happened twice the last 24 hours for me, No worries.

Halo: Reach, Halo 3, Halo 2, Halo Wars and even Halo 4 runs on a peer to peer system meaning if the game is lagging, it is the host or your end.
There is no dedicated server which could be causing the issue, Halo doesn’t have them.
You said it yourself in another topic really:
> Upstream bandwidth doesn’t matter much… mine is at the “Warning!” range and MM is fine.

It didn’t seem like it was me OR the host in this case.
Edit: For the 3rd time ever since yesterday, the server wouldnt connect to my Xbox.
Also, after a game of BTB, I got a prompt saying:
“We had to abort matchmaking due to connection difficulties.”
I am connected just fine!
The servers seem to be having issues and yes they can affect in-game performance as when the servers are being unreliable host record might be inaccessible so some players with abysmal connections get host.
