Been playing a lot of BF1 since it’s release, but I love Halo and must keep playing. These last few weeks have been very sketchy with the lag, in every game mode. Constant lag spikes are ruining my ability to play. One second my shot is on, hiccup, the next LAG. Repeat. Sometimes it’s constant with delayed grenades and delayed everything. What is going on? What happened to the servers? Is something in the works to fix it? Has anyone even acknowledged it’s existence? I’m finding it nearly impossible to get any joy out of Halo lately, only the desire to rage quit because the game is unplayable to me.
It’s worse In a Banshee. The game freezes for 10 seconds. That’s waaaaay not cool
Yea, Halo has HUGE problems with lag, which is really odd. 343 has to fix that soon, or else Halo 5 wont be a thing anymore. The sad part is, the lag isnt even from our own internet connections. Its more of 343’s servers being crappy.
343 has acknowledged the issue. They are working on it. In true 343 style, they said more info/fix coming “soon”.

Thanks for the heads up. I find it strange that after a year of mostly acceptable servers, near flawless at launch imo, now we need a fix? What broke, and why? Seems strange. If I can’t get a decent game anymore, I’ll rarely play and rage quit when I do. Halo 5 feels amazing, when it works, even if I lose. Lag makes me feel cheated.

yeah it sucks its lagging right now and i know it isnt my connection because gears multi is fine doom is fine battlefield is fine.
sucks i had to drop out of two games right now.
i’m okay with lag im 150 rank im used to it by now but its doing that cut scene thing where you’re in one spot then another spot then back to the other spot all while being shot at and potentially tea bagged 
pretty much unplayable while doing that its like running in quick sand.
oh also got the pinwheel of death aka the spinning pinwheel where your reqs dont work again.

I’ve noticed that my game has been randomly freezing for a few seconds a lot more frequently recently. Sometimes it has led to me dying as a result of not being able to do anything. That being said, I’m not sure if it’s a server issue or just that I’ve almost got all the reqs now.

yeah the freezing thing i thought that was just me sometimes they are short like one or two seconds.
i had a 7 second one in a ghost the other night was lucky i made it.
Maybe I’m lucky but I haven’t experienced lag. The only time is in custom games when someone leaves but everyone’s game freezes

I’d recommend it. I thoroughly enjoy it. Makes for a good Halo break
ive definitely noticed this problem got a lot worse since the last little update they did to find the problem. its almost like the update was designed to exaggerate the issues in order to eek them out.
or, ya know, just drive players away so the servers are less busy.

How extensive is the weapon customization?
During the beta, I desperately wanted to have Iron sights on the SMLE sniper rifle. Is that possible in the full game?

The Lawrence of Arabia & Infantry SMLE has iron sights. But most of the optical or marksmen rifles you can change the recticle(sp?) and many of the iron sights you have a few options on the type of iron sights. Most rifles though have a iron sight and a scope (optical or marksmen) option.

Depends on the map and grouping really. There is one map that will constantly have sniper spam…I think its Monte Grappa not sure but it has a giant mountain on it. It all just depends though on who you get placed with. Sucks when you have 4 wannabe snipers on your squad and you have to respawn far away from the action.

Every time it freezes I get skyjacked.
mine doesnt freeze but 1 out of 8 in arena starts at middle of the battle, already got kill like 5 times.

try warzone assault i bet you’ll freeze at some point if you play enough games.

…by releasing an update that doesn’t actually fix anything, it just serves to make them look extra intelligent and proactive lol.
