Hey Halo Waypoint, I’m currently writing a machinima in which the story involves the Insurrection. I have read Halo Evolutions Vol.1, The Fall of Reach and reseached the Innies online. To continue my research, I just want anyone that has any interesting info on them to put it in the post. Other then my reseach, I want to just have a place where people can find info on the Innies, if they are doing a project or if they are just looking it up out of curiousty. Appeciate the support for anyone that posts and hopefully you helped me and many others.
The Cole Protocol gives some info on them. Considering a good portion of the story is based around an insurrectionist base. Well, at one point, some innies were trading with Jackals, given stuff to make slipspace drives (I think). Haven’t read in awhile, but it’s an alright book.
Edit: May be wrong on it being innie thing. Wouldn’t be too surprised xD. Been a long time. Buuuuuuuut. I believe at the end of First Strike, or at part of it, they speak with some rebels. and form a plan. Plus some info in TFoR, beginning part. Another one too, I forget atm, but I’ll try to get back on you with that…
The “Cole Protocol”, “Contact Harvest” and “Glasslands” have good information on insurrectionists especially the “Cole Protocol”
you should read Dr halsey’s journal if you can there stuff about them like newspaper snips and halsey’s own thought on them

Some bits from The Fall of Reach and Ghosts of Onyx also feature the Insurrectionists although not as detailed as the Cole Protocol I would think.
I appriectate the book suggestions and I will read some of them for inspiration. However I unfortunely don’t have a lot of time to read all these books before Halo 4 comes and I want to flim my machinima when Halo Reach is still popular. So I may ask if someone can give me big or even brief summaries and conclusions you can make for the Insurrectionists from each book they are involved in. Thank you for the support.

Probably because the title creation part of the thread is awkward and shows it in all caps so you cant tell.
