After reading Glasslands the Insurrection seems to be makeing themselves known on the plannet of Venezia which is deffended by over 200 Covi AA guns and the Insurrection gaining help from some covi factions. Are leading a invasion force to earth now my question is will they make an appearence in the new trilogy or maybe in another book maybe?
Also how do you think Naomi will be that her father is a leader of the rebel forces on Venezia?
Not that it really matters but when was it said the planet had that many guns? I vaguely remember it being said there were 1-3 tyrant guns. not hundreds.
The book said that the Innies were leading a invasion of Earth? I’ll admit I only read Glasslands once, but I don’t remember that. I also don’t remember different covenant factions “helping” them. IIRC it was them trading with Jakals and the such. A question I would be worried about, is if the innies got covenant AA guns for trade, obviously money isn’t what the jakals would want. So what did the innies trade in return?? It would be pretty disasterous if the covenant got their hands on older UNSC ships, and could slip into UNSC space with little opposition cause of the ship.
While I do not remember reading anything about 200 Covenant defensive guns, or invasion of earth.
I do think the Insurrection is becoming much more of a threat with their new alliances with Kig-Yar Pirates and Brute packs while the U.N.S.C. and Elites are near exhausted from fighting each other during the war.
At this point it seems unlikely that we would see them in the new Halo trilogy; However, I have no doubt that they will play a bigger role in Post war book trilogy (especially Naomi’s Father).

Can you give me the chapter? or around what part it was mentioned? I honestly don’t see how ONI or anyone else could know that seeing as they didn’t even know they had covenant AA guns. I think it may be an assumption that ONI had.
I think it was mentioned whenever they found out who the rebel leader was because i recall it being stated they were gearing up to attack Earth or that they were planning to in the future. Hence why they are trying to get the elites to attack the colony for them.
