I just noticed something while watching the E3 trailer! I have proof that the Infinity gets repaired and gets in the sky. In this screen shot it shows Cortana possibly going rampant or something else. If you look at the background it shows the Infinity’s main control room. Now, look at the background on the Halo 4 website . Both background’s are the exact same. That proves that the Infinity gets repaired and takes flight once again! Sorry if this is old news, it’s the first time I’ve noticed it.

The infinity is bigger than the battle cruiser, but smaller than the Super Carrier.

Whatever, the UNSC Infinity could still wipe the floor with any stupid Covenant Super Carrier . . . even if it’s almost 5 times as small.
I pretty much assumed it would be repaired considering that Spartan OPs/War Games takes place a few months after the main Campaign. That being said, the ship will not be destroyed during Master Chief’s story.
As to how? Simple. There would obviously be equipment on board the Infinity (the most advanced warship in the UNSC fleet mind you) to repair the ship if needed and also it unlike the Autumn, didn’t sustain massive damage during the landing near the Promthean infested jungle. More like an EMP effect when it was pulled into Requiem; disabling the entire ship temporarily (Captain Del Rio admits that they’ve lost all power and control of the ship during the e3 trailer).
They also announced that multiplayer takes place four months after the campaign.

i have a theory on who might have repaired the infinity the Huragok ( or engineers ) in glasslands the unsc get some from the onyx forerunner world so theres a good chance that they would have some on the infinity

28.96/5.6 = 5.17. Excuse me, the Covenant Carrier is a little above 5 times larger than the infinity.

The Infinity is 3.5_km_ from what I’ve heard.
