I’m excited to have a very open world campaign that has like side missions quests and challenges.
It will be interesting to say the least. Im hoping it will follow a style similar to Shadow of Mordor. Side missions with some back stories and such. With an open world environment there is so much potential for lore
I think it will be more like Destinys open world style than like Fallout. Pocket open world locations with branching dungeons and explorable but with a distance barrier between each.
well, its not truly open world. Its more like ODST. By the end of the campaign to can backtrack to all the past areas but its not all open from the get go
Yep, very exciting to see what they do.
Of course the campaign is going to have to keep bringing you back to specific narrative points… but hopefully there freedom in how you get there.
I’m especially hoping it allows for some epic battles spread over large areas.
I’m excited about an open world. I’m not going to pretend that we know how the open world will work, just that it’s an exciting idea for Halo.
I wasn’t excited about an open world Halo game until I saw the demo. Now I’m very excited. Did NOT see that coming.
We’ve had open levels before, but apart from Mombasa Streets, we really haven’t had truly open world. And even that was more or less a staging point for getting to the next linear level. If Infinite goes that route, and there’s really not much more to do than get from one start point to the next with enemies in between, I’d be fine with that. But there’s a lot of potential for side missions and Easter Eggs if it’s truly an open world game.
