Unfortunately, I think a lot of the Christmas n00bs are going to be playing CoD and Battlefield. Kids are really behind in the times if they’re just getting around to picking up Halo 5 now.

True, but there are a lot of people on the planet and I still think a decent amount will buy halo

I found Christmas noobs on Reach last year. Trust me, 5 will have plenty.
nope, deleted Halo 5 and most likely wont be coming back. Unless this latest update, Monitors Bounty, revamped and made actual social playlists exist.

It did, in a way. Have you checked it out at all?

I’ve looked at it a little bit, not played it, but looked at it. I saw BBK Dragoon talk about it, so I am considering coming back.
The only 3 things that are pulling me back just a little bit are 1.) I don’t have much space on my 500 GB Xbox, so I’ll have to delete Smite and CoD BOIII If I want to download it again. 2.) I have really bad internet, so it’ll be at least a week before I can play anything online again while it’s downloading. 3.) Before when social playlists were added, there were hidden ranking system put in place so even though they were labeled as “social” they still had ranking systems in play.
Also, before I deleted it, I was constantly lagging out and being banned for leaving games that I lagged out of. Although it was before the patch update so I don’t know how the servers are now.

That’s freaking rough. The small hard drive size on the Xbox is unfortunate - in order to hold all my stuff I had to get an external even with my upgrade to 1 TB.
To me, it’ll never be truly social until splitscreen is added and you can play with guests. Until then, there’s always going to be sweaties and whatnot going into the social playlists (such as shotty snipes) and causing havoc. The good news is, that it’s hard to be an epic tryhard in triple team or action sack - so there are still refuges for the actual social gamer.
It’s definitely improved, but it’ll never be what it once was.

Ok, thank you for clearing up some of my concerns for the Monitors Bounty. I guess I’ll wait until Halo 6 to see if they change anything.
I can’t wait to make kids mad and I will be using christmas colors just for the fun of it
I really doubt there will be many Christmas noobs in MCC this year. So, unfortunately, I won’t get to partake.
As long as Halo 5 offers no playlists suited for classic Halo gameplay, it’s not a game I’ll ever come back to.

Wow, you know what they say Spartans (halo) never die
More than likely these “Christmas noobs” are still better than I am.

Eh, I don’t care. I play to have fun and I want everyone else to have fun and enjoy the game whether they are new or not, good or bad, young or old.

You can usually find some custom games with classic rules with the new custom games browser.

It’s not the same. There should be a playlist(and it should have been there since launch) to cater to the classic Halo crowd.

I happen to agree with you in that it should be a playlist; but I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss the chance to play classic Halo just because it isn’t its own play-list. You could miss out on a lot of fun.

Basically, kids these days seem to don’t know anything about games really. Almost all of them just crave is. “Guns! Death! Trolling! Killing each other for no reason or skill!”
