Haha that sucks, but that’s where air vehicles always spawn.

Don’t spawn in any aerial vehicles when there’s an AI in a Banshee Ultra roaming the skies.
You should have spawned at home on foot, then gone to the home req station to REQ the phaeton.
However, I agree that you should get an option at which base you want to spawn a vehicle… seems like a no brainer.

One of the many reasons I prefer to spawn at home base, then go to the req station to bring in a vehicle. The odds of getting destroyed or hijacked the moment you spawn is taken away. Takes longer to get where you are going but saves some headache.

That really bugs me. I purposely spawn at home base to avoid getting boarded in any vehicle or blown up.
Then I’m magically at a garage or some where else on the map. Immediately getting attacked by enemies.

I had a few lucky packs a couple weeks ago. One had two in one pack and then the next two also had single phaetons in them. I don’t play much Halo anymore so alot of my reqs sit there collecting dust, I think I have 30 nornfangs or so also, which I only keep to give to low ranks on my team.

It wasn’t even AI! It was an actual player. 
First time I spawned a Phaeton it was on stormbreak and I was immediately lasered out of the sky. Just one of those things really…

For most of us, that’s why we’re so hesitant in bringing out an air vehicle like that. A shame, really.

I do the same thing for twin beams and tartarus’ since I never use them. And yes I pulled the same stunt with a phaeton and asked the same question. lol
Warzone at the last minute of winning or losing alway kicks me out! This is a turn off for real!

It really is.
It’s one of the biggest reasons I don’t use some of my most powerful reqs. For the first time I actually used a Prophets Bane just the other day, that I unlocked months prior, but I lost it after getting 4 kills with it.

I would laugh, but unfortunately I had the warzone flashbacks… Who the hell thought it was a good idea to let people spawn in spartan lasers, and then hand them out like toothbrushes at the dentists office?

That’s decent usage of it. (I wish it had more battery) A few tips for using it, go through less traveled paths, attack only when you know there won’t be any witnesses, and try to move in darker colored areas to mask the lines.
