“We are not here to wipe out the rebels but to find gears brother but dealing with them would aid the rescue”

“Are you going to come?” Gears asks Rook over the radio.
Just as Gears is about to go through a door, Reaper grabs him and pulls him back.
“There are several automated turrets behind this door.” says Reaper.
Gears grunts, opens the door slightly, and throws in an EMP grenade, then a frag grenade, and quickly shuts the door. There is a loud zap followed by an explosion. Gears then goes through the door and keeps looking for Moose.
“Gears where are you you took off and I can’t track you the caves are messing with my sensors cross lets”
rook stops talking to realize cross is gone and follows the explosion
“gears where are you”
Rook then feels pain in his head
“Ugh my head what’s going on”
rook passes out
Cross runs over to Rook and begins checking his head.

Cross finds nothing wrong with rooks head but rook is still in pain
“my head ugh it hurts”
says rook
Cross says “What’s wrong, were you hit?”
“No I wasn’t it just started happening”
says rook then he screams in pain
Cross says “Should i call in a med evac for you?”
“Your friend on the radio said extraction is not possible just give me a gun and find my friend gears I will wait here”
says rook
hands rook a pistol, and helps him on his feet
Cross says with a smile on his face “We have a battle to win, lets move.”
As they move to gears last known location they are ambushed by rebels and rook opens fire
“armor”

Gears kicks down a door and holds his DMR at the ready. Then he sees who else is in the room.
“Moose?”
“Gears! You finally came!”
*Gears spins 90 degrees as Blaster steps from the shadows. Reaper draws his machete and growls."
“I got this.”
Gears runs over and embraces his brother as Blaster and Reaper begin to fight.
“I missed you so much Moose.”
“I missed you too.”
On the radio
“gears something is not right my head it hurts if you can hear me we will be at the entrance”
says rook
“it has finally begun”
says blaster while fighting reaper
Cross takes a knife off of his thigh and stabs a rebel in throat, and he fires upon more rebels with his DMR in the other hand
Cross says “we have to catch up to your friend, curse all these rebels!”
As a rebel lays on the ground begging for mercy, Cross looks him in the eyes
And says “The UNSC sends their regards.”
Then rooks skeleton started to glow orange like the promeathian knight skulls
“what’s happening to me”
says rook then he remembers what the scientist said
in rooks head
“the subject hasn’t shown any signs of knightism”
says the scientist in the flashback
“this must be knightism”
says rook
“What is wrong with your armor Rook.”
Rook then sees his armor is glowing as well
“the armor (prefect armor) is made with UNSC and forerunner tech”
says rook
“forerunner tech? arn’t they that ancient people that the covenant worshiped.”
“A scientist said something about knightism I don’t know what it is”
(it’s where a human turns into a knight when they got a promthean soul in them but I just made this up so go with it)

“Well I’m not really a science guy, guns are more my expertise.”
