Sam was perched upon a jagged cliff edge, VISR magnification active and panning over the Innie base. It didn’t take a genius to know insurgents from formal military or even mercenaries. These guys were complete jokers, rubbing red accents on their armor like it was a neon sign. “Idiots,” he said, this time referring to his compatriots.
For Rook and J25 to be taken off guard like that was probably the most hilarious failure. Granted, their captors had active camoflage, but VISR was able to detect even stealth equipped Elites, Zealot class included. Tapping his visor, he zeroed out his vision mode then placed his hand onto his rifle. “Alright…time to save the day…again…I guess.”

then reaper opens the door and grabs rook and then closes the door

then starts pushing me away and scorch took his place

rook is dragged back with a black eye bloody nose and bruses with some missing armor
J25 stared at Scorch. The Smiley face painted on the visor of his EVA helmet no longer gave off a friendly vibe. He turned his gaze to the equipment Scorch was tinkering with. Scorch looked up, and met J25’s gaze. J25 then reached down to his utility belt, and grinned.
“Aww, -Yoink-!” yelled Scorch.
J25 hit a button on his belt activating an EMP.

“Phoenix, initiate squad armor shut down.”

*Before Phoenix could do so, Comic gets up grabs a brick, and hits Scorch over the head."

J25 grabs his DMR and SAW. He then tosses the pilot an Assault Rifle and Magnum.
Artemis falls down but reaper removed the shut down device in his armor

J25 kicks down the door just as the lights come back on. Comic pops up in front of him and yells.
Seeing Comic, Reaper is taken aback.
“Gears drop your weapons or I kill him and I know who he is and what he has to do and I put explosives on Artemis you have to choose get rook or get your girlfriend”
reaper says as they go into the hall
“Alright.”
J25 drops his weapons, then nods at Comic.
Comic shoots Reaper in the foot.
“OW! MY FOOT! YOU’LL PAY FOR THAT -Yoink-!” Reaper shouts.
J25 rolls past Reaper to Artemis. He pulls a small chip out of the back of her helmet. And deactivates the explosives on her armor.
“Phoenix, reactivate Artemis’ armor.”
Reaper jumps out a window still holding rook into the toxic air without rooks helmet
rook gasps for air still weak from the fight with Artemis the window shields activate keeping everyone in
Rook continues to breath. He then notices the re-breather J25 had put in his mouth as he rolled by.
“This isn’t over”
reaper says as blaster grabs him and puts a jet pack on him
taking rook with him (blaster took the device out too)
reaper destroys rooks IFF tag so they can’t track him
“Reaper activate the explosives on the ship”
says blaster

says reaper

blaster primes the charges himself
explosives around the ship start blowing off one by one
“They’re gone.”
J25 takes off his helmet. Scorch runs into the room.
“Shut up Scorch.”
“I haven’t even said anything yet!” yelled Scorch.
“You just did.” Artemis replied.
Artemis takes off her helmet and embraces Gears.
“I missed you.” she says.
Scorch makes a gagging noise. Comic picks up a brick and Scorch stops.
“I missed you too babe.”
Then a explosive in the prison room goes off
“Look gears we know who rook is and what he has to do”
says scorch
