*Damien opens his eyes. He must have passed out again. * Damn, he had to stop doing that. *He notices a new guy at the entrance of the bar. “Hey you! Where the hell did you come from?”

*Damien gets up and goes to approach the stranger when something else catches his eye. He walks past the stranger to see what was taking place outside. It was not Halo, it was something else.

“New Mombasa? Oh hell no.”

(Also, this roleplay was probably just for fun to start with. Just bring in your Spartan for a drink. Then we gained speed and made an actual storyline out of this. A decent one a that. And, since I think I’ve killed myself off once or twice in this story, I don’t think we’re aiming to be logical.)

(Do I need to pull out my chalk board and Doc Brown this? In our personal universes, all the things that happened in our pasts have happened to us, but in an alternate timeline. We changed the very fabric of time just by going back in time, creating what will be a different future from the past that we knew. In order to prevent the current timeline from happening, we have to go to the future and save The Book from falling off the counter. That is, of course, assuming that we want that to happen. We may be content with where we are now. And of course, it’s all moot if The Trio finds the book, and takes them back to their present.)

(I don’t even know how to write Mr. Mac into the story without a really bad reintroduction. I’ll just wait for y’all to kick off the story again to get me reoriented. Unless, since Mr. Mac was inside a Covenant battlecruiser does that time travel with him?)
