This has been the case for all the halo games I have played, Which has been all of them. Once I’m in the groove of the game, I just cant stop kicking -Yoink-. I die the least amount of times on my team, and my dmr/br is spot on. However, every once in a while My skill level drops massively And I get extremely unlucky. I Turn a corner theres a guy with a shotgun who kills me, Then in dmr fights I cant even land 2 shots and lose all my 1v1 fights, I push forward only to be blown up by 5 grenades at once, I died yesterday by the same guy,4 times in a row, because I couldnt out dmr him… he wasnt even that good. In the game before that I went -19 kd ratio… thats almost 1/3 of the game total… in points attributed to the enemy team… That says alot about someone who had a kd ratio of 1.9 yesterday…
Anyone elses skill fluctuate?

Its just a matter of bad luck OP. It happens to me a lot.
Not even just on H4, it happens on H3 and Reach as well.
Which is why after a few good games I play some Spartan Ops or something else.
Yeah I seem to also have a bad day every once in a while and get killed like crazy for some reason.
There was a span of two days last week when I got a few perfections and almost every game I got a killing frenzy, and I raised my slayer k/d from a 1.5 to a 1.85.
Then, there are days where I can’t hit the broad side of a barn with any weapon I use.
I just played a game right now… I had the first shot advatage… missed… and literally shot in a full circle around the dudes head… not oncee in the middle I didnt hit him once!
Always man, that’s why after at most 3 great games I know I’m about to get owned somehow.
I just go a few rounds in Spartan Ops then head back in. But that’s how it’s always been.
My only real issue though is with halo 4’s ordinance system… you can never make an educated guess at what weapons your opponents have. only that both sides have 2 snipers lmao
