Drums, Trumpet, and the occasional Choir.
Aside from the game theme nothing is really memorable. Anyone else feel this way?
EDIT: Well, this is weird. I didn’t post this, unless I was in a trance, or I was sleepwalking, or something. I love the H5 soundtrack. Anyone know if this has happened before?
Meaning ODST? if so… I feel it was a little ridiculous, but I like how it gave another perspective into the rest of the unseen/ halo universe. always thought it should have had either better multiplayer or have been a 40$ game at launch…

OST means Original Soundtrack
Honestly, Halo 5’s ost really seems like a contender for the best of the franchise, it has everything great about Halo music and then some.
But does it have Stevie Vai ?

I’m certainly not, I’ve had many of the tracks on repeat, Kazuma Jinnouchi has done an amazing job
Yeah dude, I have to wholeheartedly and respectfully disagree man. This is coming from someone who composes music, and knows composers and people in orchestra. This was a killer soundtrack. It really brought back the mysticism and ancientness back to the game. The music tells a story on its own. Now that’s art
#thisisrealmusic #forgetkanye I apologize for using hashtags lol. I thought it was appropriate
I have to agree with Misfit, this is one of the best ost’s in the franchises history. Obviously will wait for the final verdict until I’ve played the game and heard everything in-game but Halo 5’s music has the potential to be up there with the OSTs of CE, ODST and Halo 2 for me.
Uh, what? I, um, didn’t post this. I’m not the OP. Unless I’ve had amnesia, or was sleepwalking. I love the H5 soundtrack. Anyone know if this has happened before?

Okay? That’s a bit weird.
Really? I think the OST is really good; alot better than 4’s soundtrack. It really sets the tone and feel of the drama that goes on in game.
Its a huge step up from Halo 4, but it doesn’t quite compare to the past Halos. I think in the actual gameplay and scenes the music is too muted. Whereas in past Halos the music was front and center a lot of the time and you were very aware of it. In Halo 5 a lot of the time it seems like it’s there, but it’s more like mood music except for a couple key moments.

I turnes down the sound effects juat cuz of this and the dialoge was quiet too
I also loved how they incorporated a lot of the original trilogy’s songs (specifically towards the Chief) and it’s definitely an improvement from H4.
… ODST still had my favorite OST though… Sinister with a bit of flair. #Marty2016
Lol. I don’t know what happened OP but I needed the laugh today. Thread locked.
