Who else remember that 343/Microsoft said, that there will be a Halo Movie/series from Spielberg for the Halo Universe?
I hear that Gears of War 4 will have an movie but I just have to think back to the Halo thing.
Why praising something and saying that it will be great but don`t even start it?

I`m really dissapointed
They still working on it,it has been confirmed a few months ago,unless there is a new statment which say they have stop it but I havnt heard of one.
Yes, there was a tweet not long ago saying it’s still in development. I speculate since Gears is Microsoft making a deal with Universal and Halo is also Microsoft there might be some good reason for delay there…
But that last part is just speculation, take it with a grain of Salt. But we can confirm that the Speilburg/Halo movie is still happening.

Still working? Okay - don`t want to say anything but hell, Halo 5 is dead, Halo 6 will be dead after a year too when they release it (look to the great work of Halo 4/5)
They said its still coming so i’m still waiting. At this point my patience is running thin though, i’ll admit it. I keep watching Nightfall, Fall of Reach, Forward unto Dawn and Legends just thinking how good they are and how good a proper movie could be!
I believe it was meant to be a TV series not a movie. And it has been confirmed several times to be in development.

I’m asking this almost everytime we talk about the TV series.
I think they did this only to add one more reason to buy Xbox One. Because the 1st reason is the game, why some of us want to buy X1.
3 years or 2 (2 for sure) since they lied to us, and they can’t even show us a -Yoinking!-’ concept, story idea…NOTHING. Not even a single leaked something. All they say everytime is “it’s under development”.

People are saying that it’s still in the works, which may be the case, but have they even started filming? There hasn’t been a single leak of casting, production, or anything like that. That’s usually a sign that none of it has happened yet.

Who knows just maybe Spielberg may start doing something after he finish’s doing transformers 5 and before he starts making Indiana jones 5 which is set to release in 2019. just saw something about it on IMDB halo tv show 2017 that’s all it had. so who knows. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2934286/
