so this is my first post and english is my third language so please dont charge on me for my spelling so i wanted to ask you guys a question what does ‘‘The Halo Feeling’’ mean for you?
for me i think of mystery and exploration
i putted this topic in halo 4 related because it is the new trilogy and i am very intersested in the new things we wil see think of enemy, landscape, vehicles and of course the spartan IV project
so maybe we can get some cool ideas from everyone’s perspective from the halo universe
Mystery
Exploration
Wonder
Awe
The feeling that you are small and insignificant, yet you must stop the evil
Madness
community
carnage
good time
memories
Mystery, awe, the deep connection between the ancient past and the present (or future). Fighting against the odds, blowing sh** up, sticking an enemy with a plasma grenade, headshotting a Grunt and seeing him explode with confetti, betraying fellow marines and friends just for the laughs, hijacking a ghost from an enemy and then running them over with it, revealing an ancient secret, skull and terminal hunting by going everywhere you can think of when playing campaign, ramming two Elephants together and running for eachother’s flags while the biggest, most awesome firefight takes place on Sandtrap, that moment when you found out the turbine on Zanzibar can lift you up to the bridge/thing and later, when you found the energy sword. Loading up a vehicle mission with your friend and taking turns around the Hog (driver/shooter), finding a ridiculous easter egg after seeing it on the internet (the caveman comes to mind), completing the campaign on legendary and feeling true achievement, jumping into a game of Grifball and hammering anything that moves, playing some FFA and conquering most other players only to go down to second place in the last minute. Generally sucking in matchmaking, but loving the hell out of it. Forging some awesome maps, some with pretty aesthetics and others with creative ideas gathered by the community, going crazy in an attempt to win a contest (and I actually won Bungie all-stars), going into theatre and mashing play/pause to see explosion animations. Failing epicly, winning gracefully (or ungracefully: Tea-Bag).
That is what the Halo feel is to me, and I am positive that Halo 4 will deliver it.

> This is my Halo feeling.
My “Halo” feeling is a Halo game where we don’t have a 1 weapon to do everything gun like BR/DMR … I miss Halo: CE where it actually took skill with multiple weapons to take down an enemy at different ranges.
