MLG v1 is Halo 3 with sprint and the occasional watered down armor ability. Vanilla Halo 4 has problems, but MLG v1 is too spripped down and just boring.

I’d rather have that then what the game has right now.
It has a competitive aspect to it and that’s what I enjoy.

ghostayame just chose those settings out of nostalgia not what is actually fun and competitive , pros honestly dont have a clue what they are doing making settings for games

I made the thread not in that intention. Those are all competitive players in THC’s livestream and they all make valid points. If I wanted to make a flamewar trust me, I would have made one and gotten myself permabanned. But I know casuals won’t even click on the livestream and start a flamewar which I’m not wanting. There needs to be a competitive aspect in Halo 4 and 343 needs to realize that there is not even a single ounce of it.

I bet you 1600 MS points if this map and gametype were put into Team Slayer Pro, it would be voted for everytime.
Also enough with the term nostalgia, Halo 4 is not competitive and it was never competitive to start with, which is why I lost interest within the first month. Halo 4 is a casual game that needs to get a competitive feel to it.

I’m certain 343 realizes the lack of competitveness in 4, also your link is broken. THC often makes great points, but I am not going to let that totally shape my opinion of the game. I believe that 343 should take their suggestions into consideration, but they should also make the game in their vision with a good balance for the competitive scene.
I would rather have an original yet competitive experience then the same thing we have been getting before.

Let him do what he wants. He may want 343 to see it. Besides, how would you feel if someone said what you just said to you when you were in his position? Everyone gets a voice, deal with it. If you want to stop his arguments, counter-argue them! That is how compromises are formed and where the best ideas can usually come from.

Thank you!! For once a person with common sense… no offense dude. So why…wasn’t there a competitive aspect with Halo 4 to start with? This is the point I try to make with every single one of my threads that have gotten buried.

It may have been at whey were waiting or CSR and the MLG playlist to be finalized but that ended up backfiring. Now we wait for the February TU.

simplex is just another midship remake like everything salot makes
brs are an inferior rifle that have slow kill times and inconsistent spreads that give a large host advantage and bring luck into competitive gaming
dmrs are consistent and single shots with faster rof and the only reason he doesnt choose them is the affiliation with reach
not to mention not giving the light rifle(technically more competitive than both just based on skill to use)and the carbine are not choices for literally no reason
the AAs as PODs ? if you have even played simplex you would know that noone has time or is bothered to call down PODs when they are required to be teamshooting the opposition constantly
the AAs should be part of the loadouts and at the very least everyone should have thruster which would increase the skill gap because it takes skill to use
you clearly havent actually played much mlg or else you would know all this already and this thread was just you showing your alliance as a competitive gamer while not actually testing any of these settings yourself, then bothering to argue with people who have and say they suck
goldpro and even thcs own settings are superior to ghosts
and they got rid of lotus for this literally the best mlg map to come out of halo 4
