This pretty much sums up my opinion of it right now…
Lolz, Good Post.
True that.
I just see a lot of idiotic posts. Sure, we haven’t seen much, but we can properly express our concerns, can’t we? Some of the things complained about are completely unreasonable, but there are issues than can be discussed without people jumping in and spouting unnecessary words.
If we know that there is sprint then we are aloud to say we don’t want sprint
Discussing concerns, yes. OMFG WTF SPRINT AND JETPACK NOOOOORAGEFUUUUUUU343i, …no.

Aren’t it mostly the fresh made accounts that say Halo is ruined.
I mean half of the “Halo is Ruined because <insert bs here>” threads are made by accounts that barely exist a week.
Honestly I think the game looks great, better lightning, better visuals and that’s only from an alpha build.
I am curious about Campaign though, hopefully we get some info on Pax East.

That was brilliant. Best post on the forums.

Let’s idly sit by and not complain at all so that when the game comes out and it turns out it does suck, we won’t be able to say at least we tried.

I agree with you.
To be honest I feel quite ashamed and frankly embarrassed for any who look at these forums, especially 343i.
We have two sorts of people on this forum since the trailer was released. It appears some more than others at the moment.
Positive Reactants:
- Loved the trailer, happy with what we have seen in Halo 4 and 343i.
- Not happy with certain aspects/ entire trailer and give constructive criticism regarding Halo 4 and 343i.
Negative Reactants:
- Hated the trailer and continuously shouting completely radical, unnecessary and non negotiable statements.
We all know people are going to dislike some aspects or even the entire trailer and some who will be very happy with it. This is completely fine as long as there is reasoning and practical opinions that offer a discussion, this is a forum not a protest. It’s just unfair for those who want to speak their opinion and discuss what they like/don’t like and all they are met with is flaming torches.
It saddens me.
> If we know that there is sprint then we are aloud to say we don’t want sprint
1.allowed… REALLY HOW CAN YOU MISSPELL THAT?
2.No, no you don’t.
It’s 343s game and besides they’ll make a classic playlist from the start I’m sure of it.
Something to keep it fresh (add things) and still old school ( a game mode without those things).
Better to put our opinions out there while there might still be time to change things if there appears to be things that you know will never work or fit in a halo game.
You say we are idiotic and stupid because we are posting our thoughts on information that we have heard from interviews/videos. Just what do you expect us to post about on a forum for a game that is in development?
If so many are against certain things then why do 343 choose to ignore the community exactly the way bungie did and do as they liked. Really 343 should do some sort of poll but if they did that that would insinuate that they actually cared what loyal fans think.
Well, I’m awfully excited for Halo 4, and have complete faith 343i know how to properly design a game. I’m also pretty sure everyone at the studio has a deep respect for the series, but that they also want to give the players more ways to do what they like to. As was said COD-like perks won’t happen, and from all what we have seen and heard it hardly sounds like they’re stealing anything.
What we have seen is a trailer on an impressive new graphic engine, promises of a new, story-driven majestic experience, and that 343i shares the love of the BR, and understand how bloom on the DMR it didn’t really work in Reach.
There’s nothing I don’t love about the trailer, and I’m very curious to new info. All the fighting among the community seems rather pointless to me. It seems to me like some people want a revamped Halo 2 with more maps, which I can understand. It was a fun, competitive game, popular with the more ‘hardcore’ of Halo players.
Halo 4, however, will be Halo 4, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

He’s not talking about those of you who aren’t happy with certain aspects and give good criticism or feedback.
He’s talking about the people that are making excessive amount of threads based on unreasonable rage and frustration that denies any sort of meeting in the middle.

Because Halo 2 had a forum…
BURNED BABY!!!
The problem is most fans are to busy playing Reach or Halo 3 to even come to the forum.
This means that a majority of players (around 300 forum posters against 200 000+ players on Reach alone) did not even voice their opinion so maybe those people like certain aspects in the trailer and just played the previous games to keep themselves anticipated, and then lightning strikes because a minority of the community wanted that feature gone (not that 343i is going to listen to the mental people of this forum).
Let’s be honest half of the post here are terribly constructed and have no clue what they are talking about.

And half of them appear to be posting in this thread
If they release a classic gametype on release without Sprint and all the other stuff, I don’t see the problem. I’m 99% sure they will do this.

You realize that 343i aren’t going to take your complaints seriously right? They hardly read these forums, and I frankly don’t blame them.
Most people here are ignorant and ungrateful.
