Over the last couple months, The halo community has been very upsetting. In the fact that, every piece of information people get about the next halo game, which is Halo 4. They start bashing and having their rants on these forums. As a halo community, by doing this, your making halo die a slow death. As a community we should embrace the news we get about Halo 4, and yes I know it might not appeal to you or you just might down right hate any changes, but you must understand its for the best interest for the future of halo. Here are a couple things you could do to help the halo community to grow and make halo stand were it used to be, and also insure that it stays there. These negative affects have stated to take effect… Example Mlg is or has already taken Halo Reach off the circuit and will not put Halo 4 in it either unless the community grows and stop bashing and ranting and complaint about things they still do not fully understand.

Don’t post things such “as why did you do this” or not buying the game simply because something has changed .

post things such as “new ideas for halo 4” by doing this the developers know what you would like, with out such negative notions.

Be more positive about the games outcome.

Also think about what new things will come because of such changes.

Don’t compare Halo 4 to any other game based on information that you read, because it might turn out better then you think, and I know for a fact that most people haven’t even touched the game, except for the few selected people at the private beta.

If you see something about the game don’t be quick to judge, because the developers are still polishing and fixing and fine tuning the game.

if you haven’t played the game, don’t say or assume how it will work, in a negative way.
Well thats all I really wanted to say, if you wish for Halo to live and prosper Help the Developers and the game, also I am not saying everything is all flowers and sunshine, but please if you want halo to live don’t let it Die.
Here’s an idea. How about you let the people who have concerns say what they want and you can just ignore it?
If I did that I would let halo Die, and that’s not in me.
IMO, the people that “hate” are the ones that have alot or too many expectations. We need to be open-minded to these things and ideas thrown at us before bashing them. There’s nothing wrong with voicing opinions and whatnot, but try to be a little more… (can’t think of the word) sophisicated? Appropiate? Idk, there is no need to go rampaging and throw temper tantrums. Especially if you haven’t experienced it first hand.
I will stand by Halo and defend its honor to the death. Then I will respawn and defend it again.

Most of those have either been not confirmed and if they have you just have no idea how they work so how can you say it’s negative, or how anything works, so just stop right there.

most of what you post are not true.
x-ray vision is balanced.
boom should be better
no elites? most of reach was spartan vs spartan so why are you now all upset.
no firefight? spartan ops should have what firefight was.
no 1-50? we may not know about that, but it was a little bit flawed.
perks? this is not call of duty. we may not know if it has perks or not.
random weapon drops? they are not random they are timed, better game flow.
drops earned by a killstreak? we dont know this. it was a theory that was not proven yet.
6-shot weapons? i dont see this as a negative.
custom loadouts? this is not cod. this should be balanced in a way.
progression system? what do you mean by this? halo had a progression system too.
grunts look horrible? in my opinion, they dont look that bad.
elites look bad? in my opinion, they also dont look that bad.
camo and jetpack? they both should be balanced. if someone wants to try and sneak a assassination, they are free to do so. if they want to fly around, they are free to do so. it is their choice. please read the top thread to get your facts straight.
b button to crouch? again this was a setting like southpaw, default, etc. come down the other options should have it a toggle button.
on equal spawn/ wtf are you talking about.

My thoughts on this above on both the positives and negatives.

Agreed Sir, Toast.
While I agree with your viewpoint, others do not. And your post isn’t going to suddenly change what they feel. People can and will have their opinions, and even if some people are being a little dramatic with their views, you just have to deal with it or ignore it sometimes. It’s alright to argue as to why their views may or may not be flawed if you don’t get too worked up about it, but it’s an endless battle of opinions. Sometimes you need to learn to just chill out.

> Yep, that’s definitely why Reach was nearly taken off the MLG circuit.

It might not have been the only biggest reason why MLG decided that but contributed to it, and im not saying to make no opinions at all but do it in a Positive way that helps Halo as a Whole.
