I am very brave for putting this out there, and this is solely my opinion don’t have to agree but feel like some stuff needs to be addressed.
Stuff the Halo community is nitpicking about:
- Pilot talking too much
- 343i ruined Halo forever
- Brutes not hairy
- Hate the sound effects
- Looks unfinished
- Bad graphics
- Everything is either Minecraft or mega blocks
- Phantom looks ugly
- Brutes looks ugly
- Ew it has sprint
- Ew it has a grapple hook
- Halo Fortnite
- Recharging animation takes up 100% of the screen
The only two valid reasons the Halo community has bought up is:
- Generic gun designs
- Looks cartoony
This is still an unfinished game and the community is nitpicking everything already, it’s like you guys want the game to nail everything to every Halo fan’s expectations. At this point it’s not even constructive criticism it’s just the Halo community legit going at it with each other. I don’t think people understand what demo means.
I don’t understand why the community is in shambles over the graphics, Halo is all about the story/lore not about the graphics. That being said the graphics look great just some tweaks to textures and lighting which are going to take place cause the game is still UNFINISHED. The demo was most likely made months before E3. This can be shown between the lighting effects in the second trailer they released. Thus why I believe no matter what; 343i could release the perfect game and they’d still receive hate. So I’m ignore the hate and wait for launch and then decide whether the game is bad and unfinished.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that, definitely have enjoyed reading some of the constructive criticism out there. I also understand how important criticism is, but this complaining is far from that. The Halo community is becoming more torn apart than ever before, kind of reminding of the Star Wars community.
Don’t get me wrong I am a little nervous after watching the demo, but nothing that is making me overraged. What do you guys think is the most important aspect to gameplay/environment 343i needs to focus on before launch?
