The Halo Canon and Red vs Blue

A question, sort of aimed at 343i:

Where it doesn’t conflict with Halo’s established story, is RvB canon?

I know that Bungie liked RvB and 343 probably does too. What I mean by this is things like:
Is Project Freelancer a real thing in the Halo canon, similar to Project SPARTAN, MJOLNIR, and GUNGNIR?

I know this may be a stupid question, but I am curious nonetheless. Obviously, that whole bit with the aliens wouldn’t work, because that conflicts with the pre-established Covenant, but does Freelancer exist in the Halo canon?

The Halo Timeline cant work with Red vs Blue. It simply cant.

Now on to the only thing that can be considered canon. And its in a easter egg.

The Halo 3 easter egg involving the RvB cast is the only way the characters can be canon. Though as difficulty changes the characters and dialogue. If that easter egg can be considered canon is very slim.

If project freelancer does exists in the Halo Universe. It would be totally different to the one we see in Red vs Blue. A lot of elements, Visual/timeline/groups simply dont add up at all.

Actually RvB can exist as canon only if it was a fictional tv/waypoint series within the halo universe depicting an exaggeration/fictional representation of what Spartans were like after their existence was announced to the public. However this is just a thought. Also, Roosterteeth as a company is canon within the Halo universe, and they would have had to have created another web series similar to RvB but not exactly since that wouldn’t make any sense within the Halo Universe.

Its like thinking what game did Bungie make instead of Halo.

And what name would 343i have in the Halo Universe with this different game Bungie made. XD

Exactly! Haha Bungie’s alternate IP was called Aurora: Warfare Evolved in which the main character, The Commando, fought an alien race called the Malevolent to save the human race while discovering the deadly yet beautiful Galaxy consuming Auroras…and 343i would alternatively be called Studio 7, after Bungies love of 7. JK. XD

I am enjoying RvB’s story way more than the stories 343 is putting out. Last season started slow but ended fantastic. I really love RvB.

Aside from the visuals Project Freelancer could fit in the canon. The corporation of the Chairman probably too.

Reality. Anything in our life and history before and during, but not after 2021(many including myself believe this is the reality cut off in the halo universe due to the fact that the International Society of Civil Engineers is founded in this year) is canon within the Halo Universe. Therefore, I am and you are part of Halo canon and so is Roosterteeth.

All of Red Vs Blue is canon in Halo. The entire Halo universe is one of Caboose’s dreams.

How so? Our history is part of Halo canon, and because you and I are part of history, we are canon. Again, we do not know when the reality split occurs, just many, I myself included, believe it’s 2021. A part of our history that is canon within the halo universe is World War 2 and the United Nations, therefore, the Halo universe is not set in an alternate timeline, but is just a representation of what our future may be like in a very realistic and fictional history.
