Hi,
As we know 343 have made gametypes their main priority for a minimum of the next 2 updates. This means we probably won’t get something crazy new, unless the brand new warzone environment coming has some cool new unique features, but at least we have gotten some cool new maps so far and will continue to receive them each update. Hopefully after March or maybe in March we start to get these brand new goodies which could spark a lot of hype within the Halo community. What new feature or mode would you like to see in Halo 5? (be creative).
This here is my creative reasonably possible update (note 343 has gained a lot of money from Req’s and whatever):
February update (Brute’s blood thirst):
Features:
New gravity hammer
new req’s
2-3 new armour sets (one of which obtainable through the game mode commendation in spartan companies)
New space map seen in trailer for arena
Rig remix
2 new storm rifle variants
forge prefabs
Ball gametype for grifball, oddball and assault, and fiesta
Tarturus’s hammer as a mythic
New warzone map inspired by HIGH CHARITY, which includes:
AI brutes wielding red storm rifles together with normal grunts and jackals and hunters
Brute chieftains as bosses
AI brutes attacking team controlled bases once in a while to spice things up
Prophet of Regret as a legendary boss
Tarturus and warden as other legendaries (Yes the warden lol, he is an icon now in warzone maps)
I won’t be disappointed if this doesn’t happen due to the gametype fiasco but this surely would generate hype if something similar comes in the future.
I think they wouldn’t do themselves too much harm by letting the Warden sit this one out. That warzone map would be really cool, though. I’d like to see the Brute Shot return too, because currently there’s no replacement for it.

True yeah brute shot from Halo 2 would be nice and could be a possibility since each update now is bound to include fan favourite weapons. I haven’t seen many people suggest the brute shot to 343 so it may not come at all.
dude my favorite thing to do was one brute nade and then melee with that crazy blade.
The Hydra launcher is similar to a brute shot (six explosive shots.) I personally LOVED the concussion rifles. The anti warthog physics collisions of those shots was unfriggenbelievable.
id be happy with some sort of spartan ops again… with additional unlocks from commendations. id also like 2 see warzone put into customs and forge
I can think of two Gravity Hammer variants that I want to see, Fist Of Rukt (Tartarus’ hammer) as Legendary, and Banhammer as Mythic

That would be interesting, having the Flood come in.

True but I doubt the concussion rifle will return in Halo 5, however having a variation of a plasma caster that could function like the concussion rifle would be cool

Yes warzone has so much potential since they could do practically many things. I got my fingers crossed for 343 to expand warzone in the future updates. Noctus is a great map and was unique, but didn’t have new features requested by the community or by 343 themselves since the map was already in beta form by launch

I liked your idea of having 3 teams with different races. Would have to be 8v8v8 though. As for campaign dlc I would love to have a blue team v didact story based on escalation before he was “contained”, but campaign dlc for Halo 5 will not happen.

That can be doable. The caster would fire grenades that explode on impact.

As long as they made it also available in Forge and Custom Games.

CQB armour? A single armour won’t have much significance, but it will still be welcomed.
