I think in halo 6 they should add the robe that master chief wore during the ads, cause it would look pretty cool with some certain combinations, What’re your guy’s thoughts on my suggestion?
Poncho might look neat on the armor, but I can just see the thing flopping around everywhere.
I definitely think that stuff like that will be added into future halos.

I don’t think it’s good for the over all artstyle or environment of Halo. I didn’t really like seeing in that trailer as well.
Stealth mechanic might be good. The robe could be a way of hiding from larger enemies or Phaetons. Mjolnir as Chief wore it didn’t really come with camo systems and who knows what the state of active camo is. I’d be for it because it would have a usage that makes sense.

But why not? And while they’re at it… They should bring back the katana from H3, the robot arms from Reach and Elites. Old school art style, from CE to H3.
And why not make Jun’s hood, (I think the body was named “Scout” in Reach, and like “Vigilante” or something in H5…) They should make it so that you can have the hood up.

Robes work in Destiny. But in competetive Halo, it would look weird and be kinda distracting I think, when people jump around, ground pounding, etc… We would all look like superman wannabes.
Although I agree with you. You have a supersuit and helmet, why wear a robe? In the trailer it feels like he wears it to not get sand in the eyes or something. He’s so used to the helmet that he forgets about it maybe.

Well the reason he had the robe because they were alleging that he was AWOL and kinda in hiding searching for Cortana or Halesy or whatever. So the robe was more to hide his identity from any passer bys. But it was all for nothing since when H5 released the UNSC knew excatly where Chief was and even where he was going. But yeah Spartans are already being compared to power rangers as is so robes would make it worse as well, IMO.
Looked more like a poncho than a robe, but it might be doable as long as it doesn’t mess stuff up. I also want some of the Reach armor animations to come back like inclement weather.
