Due to the lack of people showing up, the hunt has been postponed until Friday 17th April.
With most of the planet in lockdown because of Covid-19 and social distancing heavily advised, most parks will be closed and Easter egg hunts won’t be taking place for many people; well with Easter Sunday around the corner, I would like to officially announce the Halo 5: Guardians Easter Piggy Hunt! (Because there are no rabbit props in the game… or eggs…).
Here are the details for those who are interested:
- Dotted around a large custom made map are 40 piggies. The player who manages to find and successfully despawn the most will get a prize. That prize being a 3 Month Xbox LIVE Gold Membership.
- Weapons will be plasma rifles only.
- To make sure no cheating ensues, all players will be invulnerable.
- The hunt will start on Friday, 17th April at 7pm GMT (for your time zone, please use Google).
- The match will last for 3 minutes.
- Even though we are testing the map multiple times, some pigs may not despawn on the day of the event. Should this happen, the player who shoots/walks close to the pig will get the claim. Any players afterwards will not.
- Three of the pigs won’t despawn by mere shooting them or walking near them. You will have to think outside the box for these.If you have any questions then please either send me a private message or leave a comment down below.
I am definitely interested, but my Xbox live is already paid for every year. So I still might participate, but not for the Xbox live. If I do end up winning it, I’ll just give it to somebody else who might need it

Being invulnerable stops players from dying to everything except falling off the map and map boundaries.
