Hello everyone, ZackS11099 here. I thought I would make a thread dedicated to what armors are in Halo 5, and I will be keeping the list as armor that will be available in Multiplayer. I will keep most if not all the list confirmed armor only, though there may be some speculation at certain points. I will keep this list updated for the community’s convenience.
Starting from the top, shall we: Mark VI - Always gorgeous, the now classic armor of the legendary John-117. Mark VI Scarred - Mark VI, but with less titanium and more cracks. Nightfall - The spiritual successor to the fan favorite ODST armor. Helioskrill - An armor designed by an Elite prodigy, gives the Spartan a very stylized Sangheili look. Athlon - A new design made for war games simulation, safety was a priority here. Centurion - The armor of Blue team’s very own Fred-104. Hunter - The armor sported by Spartan Locke. Scout - This fan favorite is making a return. Recon - Another fan favorite. Recruit - The default armor featured in Halo 4/5. Noble - Mark V (b) from Halo Reach now sporting the Commando helmet Breaker - No info on this guy yet. Air Assault - Another Halo 4/Reach armor set. Aviator - A Halo 4 armor set making it’s return. Defender - One more Halo 4 Armor re-appearing.
Non-Confirmed Mark V - This pre-orderable statue is featured on Waypoint and shows a Spartan wearing Mark V, note that he is wearing a GEN II undersuit. It’s likely as it’s not the Combat Evolved Anniversary under suit and Halo 4 isn’t so relevant at the moment, that it is based on a Halo 5 render. This is not confirmed. Helljumper - Buck’s armor from the campaign, features the classic ODST helmet. Argus - The armor of Linda-058. Hermes - The Armor of Kelly-087. Copperhead - Spartan Vale’s armor of team Osiris. Technician - Spartan Tanaka’s armor of team Osiris.
Also an unconfirmed one is “Helljumper”, Buck’s ODST variant. Which let me jus say, looks hella -Yoink!-! Also, there’s a “Scarred” variant of the Mark VI armor, which makes it look battle damaged. Also where can I get that statue?! Where do I have to pre order from?

I always felt Commando from Reach looked too much like a grasshopper…Bleh.
But here it’s unreal! Such a cool design!
And I’m super loving the Breaker helmet! Keep up the great work, yall!

Adjusted accordingly, I’m not adding the rest of the teams (Blue/Osiris) armor as they are not multiplayer confirmed. I don’t want to clutter it too much.

Also, Mark V is where it all started. They most definitely need to bring it in, and after the community out-cry and then addition of it in Halo 4, I’m sure they’ll have it.

Appreciate you making the thread OP. I’m in a funny predicament because I got the legend achievement post-beta so I basically have dat Helioskrill armor unlocked but can’t use it until October lol.

Just want to note that the MK VI from the statue doesn’t have a crotch guard, unlike the Halo 5 version.

This is might be relevant to you guys.
Im sorry if this seems spammy but this petition is about the halo 5’s armour customisation system, because so far it only sounds like the customisation system in the final game will be just how it was in the beta ( abit disappointing to me to say the least because I loved the way halo 4s and reach’s customisation system worked) and one of the best features in the halo franchise was ( to me at least ) the ability to make your multiplayer Spartan look unique in a way with all the different pieces of armour and being able to come up with amazing combos. But so far with the lack of information that 343i has given us it just sounds like the customisation will be limited back to the 3 piece system like we had back in 2007 with halo 3. If that’s the case then fine but don’t you want at least 343i to confirm this?.
