seems like the right direction for the franchise.
the types of emotions I get from the snippets ( of the soundtrack that I’ve heard so far )seem to be this:
fear - of a new enemy
elation - of a building battle
sadness - perhaps because of Cortana’s deteriorating condition
mystery - Exploration of a new world
the building up of ones inner strength to match the new threat is what I think the music leaves off with. So far I have to say that I like as much as the original soundtrack with the Gregorian/Monk chants and 2’s guitar rock Rifs from Steve Vai. I just feel that it carries across the darker mood, theme and tone of the game very well despite us only having a small shadow of what is to come from the game.
So my question for you guys is this ?
Do you like the soundtrack ? Do you think it will meet the goals of heightening the game-play through audio induced emotion ? if you do how much do you like it ?
Do you have any suggestions from existing music pieces that you think would go well with halo 4 ( if so please include a link ) Every piece of music serves its own purpose to convey a message and I think that this one is doing a great job so far.
Where may I come to listen to this new soundtrack I have yet to hear? Pleases?

I think I remember running into a message like that a while back. It probably exists to prevent doubled threads.
Speaking of which, the next time this happens, you don’t need to take any action on your own. Just report one or both of your duplicate threads, and we’ll either merge them into one thread, or delete one if it has no replies. No risk of getting in trouble for it, either – the report button’s good for more than just rule violations.

hans zimmer is not composing for halo from what we know.
I like it, it reminds me of ODST, the Halo that had the most emotional music, the one that managed to do more then just “fight!!!” music, it had feeling. I have high hopes for Halo 4 and the music of Halo 4
