The Halo 4 Release Date: Good or Bad? (Poll)

Im basically sharing my thoughts on the close release dates of Halo and Call of Duty in this video. Watching this before you vote might make more sense.

Please keep it a normal discussion, no flaming and trolling.

I bet you $1000 there is no bullet drop, & it’s only for aesthetics.

But what do you think about the close release dates?

I think it’s great.

Halo is letting Call of (Steaming) Doody that the Chief is back in town and has a multiplayer more addictive than their’s now.

Not only that, but 343i is directly challenging and intimidating Activison’s flagship games and devs. For years now the CoD attitude has been “COME AT ME BRO.”

Now Halo is coming at them.

honestly i dont think the exact date is that important

Why you insist on comparing a multiplatform game to an Xbox exclusive is beyond me… And an unannounced game at that.

This.

Truth is, CoD’s really waiting for competition. They had a hard time brushing off Battlefield 3, but they eventually got the itch.

Halo, on the other hand, is a force to be reckoned with.
While Battlefield is mostly played on PC, Halo is one of the prime console games, released before CoD.

Halo 4 is showing the king of the Xbox is back.

And in sales, only the 360 version should be counted. It’s not fair to compare three platforms to one.

Three days before our football season ends… looks like i cant nerd out for the week. :frowning:

Needs more work, need another year of designing.

? - The graphics are better than the Halo: Reach graphics other than some detail work that needs to be done on weapons, and enivronemtns.

Step aside yoink! of doody modern yoink! yoink! stupid. Halo is taking back it’s rightful thrown.

To be honest, it feels a bit weird coming so early.

yeah!!!

in truth, I think they been working on it ever since 9/20/10 the release of Reach, so its been maybe a year and a half to 2 years almost so i think its about ready for us

Its Halo going against CoD. Lets just see how Activsion takes this.

I dont want Halo to stoop to CoD’s level to “Take back the Crown” Sorry. I have never understood the obsession with Halo vs CoD( Well Maybe when I was 12 and a Halo fanboy) or whatever everyone in this community is obsessed with, I just want a quality Halo game that the developers and community can be proud of and play for years.

My thoughts on the release date: Early-Mid November has always been the release date for Halo, not a surprise.

Release it, Yes.
Compete with CoD, I don’t care.

I can understand it may help or hurt sales. But seeing as how I enjoy Halo alot more than I enjoy CoD, I just want to get Halo 4 as soon as possible within the realm of it being completed and fun by the creator’s standards.

But that’s just me.

I personally dont care about CoD being bigger. I just dont want CoD to overshadow the release of Halo 4.

These franchises have never confronted each other, they were usually divided by a month.

I think it’s great. Sooner rather than later. Now all I need is some Halo 4 Forge info.

Or should I say…

Halo 4rge.

AWWW YEAAAH.
