Hello everyone, Like many of you I read the Halo 4 info from game informer. Yes I was very mad and had thaughts like “This is not Halo, this is bull -Yoink-” But after thinking about it for a while I had come to the conclusion that it probably isn’t going to be bad, it’s actually going to be fine. But the fact of the matter is that I am still concerned about the Fate of the Halo 4 multiplayer. I have my doubts and my hopes that this may or may not be a good game, I think we are all overreacting a bit though, that’s why I think we should wait for the Halo 4 BETA (if there is going to be one) to see how these new features workout, and see if we do or do not like them, and quite possibly 343 will listen to what we have to say about them. My point is we should not judge these features until we have played them ourselves.

343i probaly thinks there is no need for le’ betaz.
all info is subject to change. that was put in the gameinformer. Still, there was a rumor which I would like to confirm as false about ADS in halo. People on IGN and gameinformer are convinced halo will have ADS, but this was never even remotely mentioned to and the gameinformer said it “still feels like halo”. this rumor has a 3% chance of likeliness. (my estimate, which I am being generous about) Anyone have info about this ADS controversey?

Yeah, people in 343 have said that the information in GI was out of context, and people are getting the wrong idea.
And Frank O’Connor says there is NO ADS. None. End of story.
I bet as we get more clarification and specifics we’ll see less screaming and whining and toys being thrown out of prams.

They don’t want to dedicate the time and resources away from programming and tweaking to the energy and dedication that it would take to setup and maintain a public beta.
They are still doing beta testing, just not publicly.
they don’t need a beta because the game is in beta phase NOW. Extending the phase to basically release a halo 4 demo (face it, that is what the Reach beta was) is just wasting time and resources. How many people actually reported glitches? 4%? everyone testing it now reports problems. The closed beta is almost as effective as an open one and keeps information more on a need-to-know level.
