The H5G Character gameplay on the Campaign

Greetings, fellow Spartans.
There’s an enigma I have been thinking for a while. As we know for the Halo 5 Guardians Campaign, we will play as the Master Chief once again but also we can play as Spartan Locke. So if we are going to play as two different characters that will encounter in any moment of the Campaign, how will the gameplay will be? I could think of two options:

  • One: The gameplay could be similar of what Bungie did for the Halo 3 ODST campaign. Those of us who’ve played the campaign knew how it was: The first mission we were The Rookie, the next one we were a different character, then the mission after that one we played as The Rookie again and so on… So could the H5G campaing be like that? FIrst mission we play as the Chief, the next one as Locke, the nextone after that one as the Chief again and so on? - Two: Perhaps 343i could think of doing something different of what Bungie did and they could make like two sides of the campaign? On one choice we play as the Master Chief and on the other choice we play as Locke? Of course both sides could be united. So what do you all think?

It’ll probably be more like Halo 2.

I could actually see Locke finding tracks of blue team and then playing the blue team missions, but I hope it doesn’t happen, because we already had it, and I don’t particularly feel like having missions that are just about finding things in an open environment again. It was cool in odst, and I got my fill. Destinys patrol missions showed me that I don’t want something like that again unless it’s done absurdly well.

If playlists return from MCC maybe you could pick, but its kind of confirmed one after another. The demo was the 2nd mission and they said ‘in an earlier mission you play as locke and his team’ or something like that.
