If there is one thing everyone who has played Halo can agree on, it it is the weapons. Any game can give you a shotgun. Only Halo can give you a gun that fires homing shards of pink glass that asplode their target!
In hype for H4, I am attempting to make the ultimate “Weapons List”!
I am going to begin with two category’s - Confirmed and ALL. With luck we will be able to build a composite list. I’m putting a number next to each to show the likelihood I think we will see it. 1= unlikely, 5= very likely
CONFIRMED
Assault Rifle - In Vidoc (thanks to KeoVietassassin)
DMR - Via “sparkcast” (thanks to GristlyStew721)
Battle Rifle - In first look.
Pistol - carried by Spartans in first look. (unknown type- CE/Reach/H2/ODST)
Grenade-firing-pistol-thingy < technical term! - used by chief in teaser (possibly an attachment?)

ALL
Heavy weapons:
Rocket Launcher(5), Splazer(4), Plasma Launcher(1), fuel rod(4), grenade launcher(3), concussion rifle(1), brute shot(2).
Rifles/two handed:
Covenant Carbine(3), Needle Rifle(3), Shotgun(5), Plasma repeater(1), sniper rifle(5), beam rifle(3), focus rifle(1), sentinel beam(4), heavy sentinel beam(1).
Pistols/duals:
SMG(3), spiker(4), mauler(1), plasma rifle(5), plasma pistol(5), needler(5).
Grenades:
Frag(5), plasma(5), spike(2), firebomb(2).
Mounted/carried
MG turret(5), Plasma turret(4), shade(4), flamethrower(3), missile pod(3).
Hand to hand
Energy sword(5), gravity hammer(4).

Thanks this will be more than helpful cuz i jumped into halo reach without any weapon knowledge from the past games. I’ll have to watch this fourm.

Anyone with any (reliable ;)) sources of info on the weps, please post so I can update the OP and keep everyone informed/hyped!

Also the AR was confirmed during the vidoc. Near the end you can hear them talking about how the AR sounds beefy.

These aren’t all the guns that will be in the game, it’s only speculation.
