I wanted to propose a question to everyone. If the Chief has been called upon by the Guardians through “Ghost Cortana”, than what is Catherine’s roll in the story-line?During one of The Sprint episodes you see Catherine Halsey next to Laskey in the Infinity board room. So if she is allowed to return to the UNSC and not be in cuffs then this means she has something that the UNSC needs, such as finding the chief. So how will Catherine play with the Chief’s mind? Is “Ghost Cortana” really Cortana or Catherine secretly leading Chief to a Guardian? What does Blue team do once the chief abandons them, if he does? I also want to bring in the final thought that if the Chief does abandon Blue team to accomplish his goals… will we finally see Junn come around to help out with the hunt?

It would be a possibility for him to leave them behind, probably because he wants to protect them.
