Has anyone figured out creative, smart and useful uses of that ability ?

yeah that could be and i also thought of how it might work with a shotgun.
Aside from making newbs miss shots on the initial encounter, I haven’t really found a use for it. It will probably work a little better in the Breakout gametype.
It’ll only be used by people with shotgun. It’ll pretty much work like it does in destiny with shotguns, which is very well.

ya it could work great in Breakout i guess n probably even better in Swat.
I think they could make the slide a little longer than it would have definately more use in Slayer. I guess what the ground pound has a little too much in terms of effectiveness n spread radius has the ground slide too less in terms of duration.

Exactly. I could imagine either sliding into the Hill on KoTH, or Sliding to grab the flag, or sliding to deliver the flag to my base. Although, if it’s KoTH, I would think a Spartan Charge would be better to use if there is an enemy in the Hill.

yeah that Spartan Charge works great if you rush with it in a group of people.
I don’t understand why sliding will be more useful in objective games than slayer games. It’s not like there’s more need to use cover in objective games than slayer games. In both of them you should be trying to stay alive as long as possible
