The Grind is real.1250 days to lvl cap @ 40k daily

Hey I did some simple math. if a spartan were to earn 40,000 exp points a day it would take ~1250 days to reach lvl cap… I chose 40k because it was the lower average for daily experience if I were to play 5 Warzone games.

I can’t imagine a casual gamer would play more than 5 games daily…

I have a friend that is 144 and has played around 18 days, I think something is wrong with your calculations. But still, 18 days!?

40K is rather low and not anyone is going to play on Warzone, specially now that there is Grifball that you can grind for easy exp in 10 minutes…

I believe the exp required to lvl to 151 is a little less than 1/2 of all the experience you need to hit lvl 152. I am at 108 and have 10.17:59:12 time played… On the weekends I can earn 300K+ exp in a session but certainly couldn’t do that regularly.

If someone can explain why at 40k a day it would take less than 1250 days to hit lvl cap I welcome the explanation…

I would also be interested in theories and data as to what the most efficient way to earn exp is in light of the feb update.

I’m 89 at about 5 days played. I didn’t know there was a level cap lol Also don’t forget about the XP boosts

Yeah well all I know is that people who are above 135 pretty much don’t have lives. I thought I was bad but my God, do people seriously play for 8 hours a day?

And the casual gamer is probably not going to reach 152. Neither Inheritor in Reach.

Although there are those people that are like… "You’re lesser than me at x so you’re a noob. You’re greater than me at x so you’re a no life. "

Which is pretty annoying.

Good point. And its “either / or attitude” so I don’t think you can play just enough to not be a noob but not so much that you don’t have a life. I just want to see what you get for hitting lvl max and am sad to know I have almost zero chance of making it…

144 is not even close to 152.
Search for an xp table.

Well I think this is more funny than annoying.
Gamers will always find a way to hate on each other.

Except it’s not easy/quick xp, from what I’ve played it barely gives off any exp.

I hit Inheritor in Halo Reach, was a long road, but felt very rewarding knowing at the end was the haunted helmet, do you get anything amazing for hitting SR-152? I’m only SR-62 right now

The highest player in the world is currently at SR150. That means that he’s earned over 24,000,000 XP. So, since it takes 50,000,000 XP to go from SR0-SR152, he’s only halfway there. And it’s been 4 months since launch.

1250 days is 4 years

so it seems that OP’s math is solid but doesnt allow for the variables like boosts and grind days

Still, if level 144 is 15% of the XP needed to reach the level cap, his friend would need around 120 days to get to 152. That’s ten times faster than OP calculated.

Well, I’m never going to get to 152… awesome

The OP said if they gain 40k a day, which everybody seems to be forgetting
